Not Lego
This product looks very similar to the official Lego version and is compatible with the Lego system and electronics as far as I have tested making this a cheaper alternative if you are not a Lego purist. The remote control was the only item which did not seem to work as well as the Lego version.

What a great accessory set for building bricks
This set of LEGO-compatible accessories is great when creating motorized toys. The set is a fraction of the cost of the "real" brand and IMO it works just as well!The functions are perfect for what I was looking for and they're easy to use. I'm very pleased with the set and I'm glad I found them!

9-in-1 Motor Kit Compatible with Lego
This 9-in-1 Motor kit is great for making Lego builds move or function in a way you want them to. It comes with an easy to use remote control that uses 3-AAA batteries that are not included. The remote control can operate in 4 channels and are compatible with Lego brand building blocks. My Webelos Cub Scout Den used these for their Engineering Elective Activity and they worked very well. We will be incorporating these for all the Engineering projects for the Webelos Activities from now on.

Two parts don't work, still good price for rest
The motor connection port and the control switch don't work. They didn't work on either copy of the sets we purchased. That said, it's still a good price for the other parts which do work. And it IS Lego compatible, though not Lego brand.

While the bricks work with Legos, the electrical parts are NOT compatible. Meaning that you can use these with Lego blocks just fine, but you can not control the motors with Lego controllers, or use this remote to control Lego motors... But this motor kit works just fine on its own.That said, this is a great kit to get kids ready to "do more" with Legos. And a great kit to see if kids want to do more before investing in the expensive Lego motor kits.My only disappointment is the actual remote is a little hard for my grandson to use. Other than that, this has been a fun kit for him to 'experiment with' and make things move. And the lights and switch allow him flexibility in designing things.All in all, a fun kit to introduce kids to motors with Legos.Definitely recommend, and is a great STEM sort of add-on for Lego blocks. 👍
