This umbrella is the just the right size for our outside cafe table. Love the color & the lights

Umbrella doesn’t some with a spacer so had to buy one and the solar lights don’t work. But it functions as an umbrella.Edit: added another star. after doing some Google, searching, I found that you have to unscrew the top of the umbrella to plug-in the solar disk. Lights are working now :-)

The media could not be loaded. This umbrella was so easy to put up. It comes in basically 2 parts, the main part, the top with the shade, and the pole that extends downward. With a simple set of twists, both parts are attached ad the umbrella is ready to be used only thing I whish was included was an instruction about using the solar panel. For days, I thought my umbrella was in the wrong position, not getting enough sun. Then, after a day of putting it where I know the sun hits the yard clearly, still nothing. Turns out, the panel on top needs to be connected to the included wiring for the lights inside the umbrella! Just twist off the panel, connect the two sections together, then reconnect the panel and NOW the light will work. In terms of shade, this does keep off a sufficient amount of heat and sun rays. I was able to slip this into the included umbrella hole of my patio table and the hinge on the side lets me readjust the coverage of the umbrella on the fly. As far as the brightness of the lights at night, they are okay so far, though I may need to adjust the positioning of my umbrella to get even more sun. Using it at night isn't a big concern right now, but I'm sure it will be better when we start having guests over this Summer and will be able to get the full potential of the lights. One thing I think that could be improved is the position of the light switch. It is very easy to be switched on unknowingly, negating the process of the solar charging. If it were a tougher / more resistant switch or behind a protective shield, that would avoid any issues with wasting power prematurely when you close the umbrella.

I purchased two of these umbrellas for my patio. I love them. The color is beautiful, I got the dark blue. The lights work great and I love that the umbrella has velcro straps to close it up when it's down. They open, close and tilt easily. I have had them for a full summer, used them quite a bit and they still look like brand new. Definitely worth the price. I can't wait to get them out again for the next season.

I bought this umbrella about 3 weeks ago, and I've had it for about 2 weeks. The first day I set it up, I noticed that the LED lights didn't work. I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning such a large item, so I overlooked that issue. Yesterday it was a little windy and the umbrella fell over. Umbrellas fall over all the time, but this one bent in to a 90 degree angle. I picked the umbrella up, and it snapped clean in half. There was no return option for "low quality", so I'm leaving it here as a review.

The umbrella itself is great. It appears to be very good quality, and it's a nice size. However, I specifically purchased this one because it had the built-in lights. The problem is that they don't work. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the umbrella for the first time until after the return window had closed, so I'm stuck with this defective product.
