It WORKS!
Zapper works. What is more to say? I get large and small bugs. One in the house and one outside. Cleaning is fairly easy and should be done frequently for the outside bug zapper. Far more bugs out there and gets full sooner. We have 2 dogs. One dog doesn't seem to mind the snapping noise but the other is sure it is going to get her. Your dog/s, if you have any, might not care about the noise but just letting you know some are sensitive to it. Our son brought there Schnauzer over and she didn't like it either. Just heads up. None the less.....works great and keeps us a lot more bug free. Thank you!

Love these!
These work great. I use them inside my house because we have had a 2 year fight with Indian meal moths. I have 3 of them and 1 other brand in the home. In the dining area where we have narrowed down where they are coming from. We have cleaned, put food in storage containers, and have pantry moth traps that work so well. Yesterday a friend of my husbands who has owned a pest company for over 30 years came by inspected and said he has never seen so many pantry moths ever! He suspects the fire place as we did and so he took out something that allows damper to close all the way. Before it didn’t and he put the pheromone traps in a couple of places outside because like us we suspected they were coming from outside. Today only 3 by big zapper near fireplace and 0 moths in other zappers and 0 moths in pheromone trap on hearth of fireplace. We have the zappers on timers so they come on at about 6 pm and off at 6 am.

An excelent First Impression
This bug zapper arrive as decribed and on time. The product packaging was well constructed and well designed.Upon opening the box i have the perception that the unit is sturdy or well built. Nothing seems to be flimsy. In addition to the unit you will find an owners manual with useful information and instructions. The English language writing is remarkably good and helpful even though i can detect that it is written by a non-native english speaker. I say this as an affirmation, not as a criticism. The care given to the owners manual for use by a faraway culture is paralleled by what i find, as a first impression, quality in workmanship. I will have to share another review after putting the unit through the rigors of the present rainy season and mosquito invasion along the Gulf Coast.I did read that the unit is weather resistent for light rains and should be stowed away during "Severe Weather" In our area we are prone to experience isolated heavy thunderstorms mostly in the afternoons but, at times, throughout the day or night. Of course I will retireve my bug zapper if there is a tropical storm or hurricane heading our way. However, It is likely that my bug zapper may be caught in a drenching downpour of rain multiple times before we experience a dry spell in October. I will have to report back to let everyone know how water resistent the unit actually is.The owners manual does recommend putting the unit awayduring the off season and to replace the bulb annually to insure functionality and longivity. This is good advice! On a whim I have open the unit and placed it beside our kitchen sink since we are experiencing rainfall and no one is apt to go out doors. I have turned off the kitchen lights and the Bug Zapper has scored 3 fruit fly "kills" in about 45 minutes. This unit can be a handy tool for eliminating flying pests indoors from time to time. It sits securely on rhe countertop. Please so far.

Love it and buying another
Immediately impressed when first opened. I did put it a little too close to me at first because the cord is so short. Once I moved it, it was much better. I love hearing all the zaps and it’s very satisfying. However, the first night did scare my chickens. I’m curious to see if I’ll see improvement during the day or if it really just helps at night.

Fantastic zapper
I was worried about ordering because some of the reviews said it didn’t work. I bought this to use indoors because the mosquito seem to love to live on my outside door and come inside as soon as we open it. I end up with welts and miserable for weeks until they go down. I bought this, hoping it would zap them. I keep it near the front door and within the first hour I heard zapping twice! It’s so powerful one of the mosquitoes was dead on the table next to it. This has given me peace of mind in my home that the mosquitoes will gravitate towards the zapper and not eat me alive!I don’t use it outdoor so I can’t say it works there, but I am now bite free since it got to my home! It was very easy to set up out of the box just plugged it in. Yes the cord is a little short, but I have it on a tray right next to a multi outlet and it reaches fine. I keep it close to the front door so as soon as they decide to come in, they wander right towards the light.I’m actually thinking of purchasing a second one just to put away in case something happens to this one! Goodbye Mosquitoes you deserve to be zapped.

Moth caught fire had to unplug and clear screen
Works great and thankfully underpowered for small time set ups like my trailer, doesn't blow circuits when on but... A moth caught fire and we had to clear it off before we could use it again. Attracts bugs from 20ft away so set unit as far from you as possible. Wish the cord were about ten feet longer though. Extension cords can be heavy enough to tip unit over or pull off center when hanging which looks bad, can start a fire and exposes more of it to the weather.
