I found a stick by the river made by a beaver that I am turning into a hiking stick. I wanted some soft grip padding, so my husband suggested batting grip tape. I love having so many pattern choices - I'm am an artist, so I love the splatter paint pattern. I got the 1.75mm thickness which is the perfect amount of padding for my hands while providing the non-slip grip that I need while using my hiking stick. This is perfect for hiking sticks too!

I purchased the 1.75mm for my son's (8u) bat and it went on without issue and seems about on-par with Lizard Skin which is what I had used on all previous bats. The one thing that I did notice was that this tape does not go nearly as high on the bat as the Lizard Skin. For our current bat situation it isn't a big deal, but you may have issues if your athlete needs to choke up on the bat. The "finishing tape" is also not as nice as the stuff that comes with Lizard Skin. This stuff is closer to electric tape whereas the LS I've used is a strip of the actual grip tape material with a small blank spot to put a kids initials which is a nice touch.All in all though, this is 4-5 stars as long as those things don't concern you. Seems like a quality product, and has a bunch of cool designs and is cheaper on average than LS which is always a plus.

We purchased this item for our daughter’s baseball bat. The grip had worn off from the summer sun. We chose to purchase this item rather than buy a new bat. This was a great choice. The grip is light, not too thick, but provides the grip she needs to swing. Also a plus, she loves the color!
