I got the bike for my 1 year old great granddaughter it was easy to put together in 10 mins the wide wheels are great for learning balance, the bar for pushing the bike is sturdy and tall enough for dad 6 feet tall togive her a push. I recommend the bike for beginners

Top wee walker and a great delivery

I'm ashamed to say that this sat in the box for a couple of weeks before I found the impetus to unpack and assemble the trike. I'm terrible at construction of anything more than building bricks! I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily I actually managed to construct the trike in the end - the instructions were very clear and everything went together exactly as it should - I was done in no time. I'm very pleased with the quality of the trike and am sure it will last well. It also looks great.My 1.5 year old nephew now uses it everytime he visits and loves it!We currently have it set up as a trike, but I'm very excited about the fact that it will convert to a balance bike when he's ready. This was something I regret not using for my two children (we went down the bike with stabalisers route) as I think with hind sight that a balance bike option is a much better way to start to learn to ride a bike.In its current trike form, my nephew will learn to control direction using the handle bars, and there is not the temptation for the adult to take over as the handle does not control the steering. It's good to have it though for when the hills are that bit too steep, or if you need to stop them riding off the pavement etc
