Simple Device for Travel Peace of Mind
The media could not be loaded. I picked up this device for my frequent hotel stays and its pretty straightforward to use! been testing it for about three weeks now in different places and the basic controls are easy to figure out. nice that it doesnt make any noise while scanning so you can be discrete about checking your surroundings. compact enough to fit in my laptop bag without taking up much space. really like having both magnetic and signal detection options depending what youre looking for. few things to note tho - takes some practice to understand what the different alerts mean and sometimes you need to go over the same spot twice to be sure. battery life is decent but keep an eye on the indicator cause it can die pretty quick when using all features at once. tried it in various rooms and spaces and its sensitive enough to pick up regular electronics so you gotta learn which signals to ignore. makes travel feel more secure especially in unfamiliar places. interface is simple with just a few buttons to learn. just remember to charge it before trips cause theres no backup battery option and maybe practice using it at home first to understand how it responds to normal electronics. handy having something portable for quick checks without drawing attention.

Doesn’t work correctly
I never got this product to work correctly never could figure it out. I watch videos and everything. I feel like it was a waste of money. I would never purchase it again and I finally decided that I was gonna return it and now it’s too late I cannot.

Sometimes working, but sometimes not.
Don’t know which time of day it will work correctly. Sometimes it can find the signal quickly, but sometimes keep beeping and you would supposed there are 100 cameras set around you.

Two-Inch Square, Multi-Purpose Travel Alarm & Security System! All Good but One!
The media could not be loaded. Upon opening the box, I did a double-take at the small size of this security alarm system! My expectation was definitely something bigger than the 2” x 1” square packed inside and I had doubts as to whether something this small would be effective for protection and security. So I put it through its paces, testing the various alarm systems to see just how well they worked. The ad claims seven different types of “protection” which I found translated to five “alarms” and two light settings. To choose and activate the alarm, first slide the power button on, listen for clicks and then repeatedly press the “mode” button on the opposite side to select one of the 5 alarm settings. On the top of the device are five alarm “mode” icons and as I cycled through them, a blue light indicates which one I selected.1.) The first alarm is the “IR” (infrared) and is activated by movement. In this setting, the alarm will go off if movement is detected within about a “10meter/thirty-foot range”. -Multiple tests accurately triggered the alarm in about a 160-degree arc in the front within a 25–30-foot range. My sound meter showed the alarm reached 110 db volume.2.) The second alarm is a photosensor activated by light. When the alarm is placed in a suitcase or dark drawer, it will activate when it is exposed to light. -My tests in several locations showed excellent activation results.3.) The next alarm is activated when the unit is vibrated or moved. -My tests showed excellent results and quick activation even with slow movements with the device attached to an object.4.) The fourth alarm is triggered through my phone’s Bluetooth connection. I paired the alarm to my Bluetooth, attached it to an object and anytime I broke my Bluetooth connection, the alarm triggered. Typically, I found that occurred anywhere from 30’ to 60’ away from the alarm with shorter distances caused by physical barriers. In this mode, the alarm consistently and appropriately triggered and would stop and reset when the connection was reestablished.5. The fifth protection is a passive “blinking” red/white light similar to a tail light for a bicycle. It serves as a protective “beacon” but there is no alarm activation. The blinking light was bright and worked well as a beacon and is great to be seen when cycling or walking.6.) The sixth “protective” feature is the flashlight mode which is activated by holding the “mode” button for a second or two and the white light on the alarm will turn on. A second press turns it off. The flashlight lights up a broad area and is a good source for large area illumination.7.) The seventh and last level of protection is the small SOS “panic button” located just below the “mode” button. When held down it activates the alarm and flashing red/white lights. -Though it “works”, this is the alarm mode that I rate the lowest. The “SOS” button is small the same shape and size as the mode button and must be continually depressed for the alarm and lights to work.Bottom Line: Initially, I was convinced the alarm’s small size would be a big negative, affecting the quality and sound output of device. But after using it, I see it as a definite bonus. All the alarm and lighting features work well but the design of the “SOS” button needs improvement.A large, easy to press “SOS” button is needed so users can quickly locate and activate it in an actual emergency. Overall, this is a great security device that I will be taking with me when traveling. It’s perfect for subways, buses, trains and airport travel. It works well as a deterrent and the multiple alarm settings allow me to use it to protect luggage, camera gear, for general security and even to keep track of small people and pets. I give it a strong 4/5 rating.

Pricey with Some Issues
The media could not be loaded. This smart alarm works but falls short in several areas. To start with the positives, the vibration sensing mode on this alarm is excellent. It is sensitive, but not overly sensitive. You can walk or move something beside it and the alarm will not trigger, but if the device itself is moved slightly, the alarm sounds. It works well if you hang the alarm from a door with the included loop. The alarm will sound any time the door is moved. The warning light mode on the device works as intended. It flashes between a red and white light continuously. The SOS mode instantly sounds an alarm. One of the main problems is the motion sensing alarm: one of the most important features. When used outdoors, the motion sensor constantly triggers false positives. I demonstrated this problem in the video attached to this review. In that video you can see me turn the device on, set it to motion sensing, and as soon as the ten second arm time finished, the alarm went off. This is likely due to the motion sensor detecting changes in heat. However, this method of detection renders the alarm useless outside because factors such as sunlight and wind create constant fluctuations in heat. Another issue is the construction and quality control. The alarm's body is made from cheap plastic, when you first turn it on it makes a strange clicking sound (you may be able to hear this in my video as well), and its packaging shows the title as "smart alarm safty box". For a product priced at $60, I would expect quality control to at least spell check their packaging. This relates to the final issue: the price. $60 is very expensive for this alarm, especially with the quality issues mentioned earlier. To end this off, the alarm itself is useful. The vibration sensor is very useful. However, I cannot fully recommend this alarm with its current quality issues.
