I got this to have easy access to my usb ports on the Mac. The Mac is very sensitive and usually a bit hard to plug or unplug USB-C cables from it and over types I notice it ruins the usb-c port. These angle connectors are life savers, it helps me not have to plug and unplug on the side of the Mac, it allows for easy access to my Mac usb-port, and if anything plugging and unplugging devices from it might eventually wear down or ruin this angle connectors but not the Mac connectors which are very costly. This is a cheap solution that works well, which ass no degradation to the charging or connection. All my devices connect well still, as these angle connectors are well designed. I also had no issue charging my phone or using devices that need power. It is pretty short in side, not very long.

I have 2 audio interface that uses USB-C. Both have connectors only in the back where it's a several hour process to get to the connector.I have 2 computers. One of the computers is also in a rack and is about an hour long process to get to the USB-C port. Yeah, I don't know why I went this route...Anyhow, I bought some USB-C cables for all 4 endpoints, and pre-ran them to a common spot, tied them together, and needed something to patch them togethere - that is where this comes in. It's a complete win, connects the cables together with no fuss, no noise, no problems; even has a handy, small, indicator light that it's involved.I don't know about passing power through it, not my use case, but otherwise, this is exactly what I need to relieve several hours of effort and save wear and tear on my USB-C ports

Usable but not perfect, every 5 or so plug attempts don't register, at least the LED lets you know that the connection is good.I moved my new workstation under my desk and it only took me minutes to lose my patience bending down to reach a port to plug in a Yubikey ( https://www.amazon.com/Yubico-Two-factor-authentication-security-certified/dp/B08DHL1YDL/ ) or to swipe a CAC card ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JK8LQ4P/ ). I have two brand new cables I can use to basically extend these two ports to somewhere more convenient on my desktop, but then I get stuck with two male ports. These adapters were just right for the job.Like I said earlier, they do work, but it's sort of a coin toss because one in 5-6 plug attempts fails. And the price is right.

Review is for AuviPal 240W USB C Coupler (2 Pack), USB Type C Female to Female Adapter Extender...Sometimes you need to extend a USB-C cable instead of buying a brand new longer cable, OR want to connect a USB-C hub like in my case, but it has a male end, so you need one of these.This unit is great, and has a built in power light, so you can see that power is going through it. These USB-C couplers seem to be directional, so if you aren't getting charging to work when using this, swap around the connected cables. Its not defective. I have another brand that does the same thing.Good quality. I bought 4, even though I only needed one. Good to have spares, just in case you need one.

I decided to buy one of these USB-C extenders so I could use a longer cable to charge my Nintendo Switch, and it worked flawlessly. Now I have over 4 meters of cable, which allowed for better cable management when connecting my Switch to the projector.This is a small but very useful accessory for extending the cable length of any USB-C device. Highly recommended!

These little adaptors have a design flaw. To get them to work, I had to first try flipping them over along the long axis. If that didn't work I would flip them over along the short axis. Eventually, I could get the little LED light to come on which means the adaptor is working.I thought that for all USB-C connectors it didn't matter which side was up when you plugged them in. Well, with this USB-C adaptor, it does matter which side is up and/or which end is facing you. Thank goodness for that little LED light otherwise you would never know when you had it oriented correctly.These were not expensive, so I'll keep them, but they have a serious design flaw.

Used in a Rivian R1T console to connect external hard drive for gear guard security cam videos.

The adapter worked no problems. Help me get rid of a cable on my nightstand.
