A great device to connect your own headphones to aircraft entertainment systems
I bought two of these units for use on a long haul flights, one for myself and one for my gf. They worked brilliantly, allowing us to use our own noise cancelling headphones instead of the poor quality ones provided by the airline. The Bluetooth adaptors are supplied in a neat pouch and come with everything needed to connect to the airline entertainment system plus a usb charging cable.Set up was a breeze with the connection made in seconds on first use. Switch the unit on, set to transmit and put the headphones into pairing mode. The name of the headphones appears on the screen of the adaptor and the connection is made. For subsequent use, the connection is made as soon as headphones and adaptor are switched on.Sound quality is very good. I listened to Talking Heads and AC/DC and could hear a level of detail comparable to when the headphones are connected directly to my phone. Volume was adequate. I watched several TV programmes and films including Gladiator, Napoleon and 32 sounds. Latency was minimal, but just about detectable if I looked for it closely. It was not an issue for normal viewing. The documentary film 32 Sounds provided a good test of performance. The film contains demonstrations of binaural sound effects and these worked perfectly through the Bluetooth adaptor.Battery life is excellent. I used my unit on two consecutive flights totalling around 17 hours with an estimated listening time of 12 - 14 hours. Two bars remained on the battery indicator after this time. I gave both units a brief charge and they were ready for the return journey. These units can be used to stream music from a phone a device with line in. This might be useful in future for music streaming in a hire car. I have not tried this yet so cannot comment on this feature.

Pretty good
works well, battery lasts a full day for me, using to pair IEM's with my phone. There is a little noise in the amp when no audio is playing however leaves when audio starts playing. Sound is lound and clear with very low latency (for a Bluetooth connection). Device was easy to pair and works at a decent range.

Great, compact device and quality sound
Great little device for allowing wireless connection of non-wireless devices to my Apple AirPods. I used this device to link to the screen on a Boeing 787 flight to Mexico and the performance was great with clear sound and no noticeable lag. A small case adds to the convenience of the package.

Goodish
Works OK and does what it should.Construction and connection: Construction is solid. Case does not flex if pressed. Connections and TX/RX switch are recessed so they won't get caught accidentally. While the USB charging lead is adequate, the 3.5mm audio connection lead is, for me, way too short. As the headphone socket on my TV is rather far back at the rear of the unit I found myself having to strain to plug the short lead in. Fortunately, I had a long spare lead which helped.Setup and use: Very easy to use. My judge of an items useability is whether I can set it up and use it without referring to the manual too often and I found the unit easy to get working. Took less than a minute to fathom out how to turn it on and pair it with my JBL headphones. Once I learnt how to do it I can now set things up in a few seconds. However, I think I would probably have to use the instructions for some of the more advanced features. That said, the instruction book is good and understandable. Last. but not least, the display, whilst small, is very readable and gives good feedback.Sound quality: Good and clear. The product claims 'low latency' and I found the claim accurate - with reservations. There is a VERY slight lip synch lag - nothing too bad and is barely noticeable if listening to direct TV broadcasts - and I have noticed that this is a feature of many transmitters. However, watching recordings from a Freeview recorder via HDMI produces a very noticeable lag. Bluetooth connectivity is very stable. I was able to wander around the house and go in the garden without too many problems but I did find some breakups in odd locations. I did have one issue with the left side audio developing a slight hiss but I think that may have been a problem with my headphone as turning them off and on again cured the problem.Overall, I think this is an adequate transmitter that is well made, does what it should and does it passably well. It's easy to set up and use, gives a reasonable connection and works with minimal fuss. The only thing I cannot comment on at this point is battery life as my TV has USB out and the transmitter is under constant power.Given the price, quality and ease of use I would say it's OK value but the recording audio lag does let it down somewhat.

This is brilliant device!
For the money, it's great, using it now on all my airplane journeysIt's very small device, with a little case which keeps all the cables and connectors together along with the device. so very easy to put in your carry on luggage.Battery life I did a 11 hour flight and no issues it lasted. It's just so great being able to use your own Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones and use the inflight entertainment system to catch and hear the latest movie on your flight. If you are planning to fly and own your own Bluetooth headphones then get this item!Device is capable of either streaming audio from or to the device which is a bonus.

Great value product, worked really well
We brought two of these to take on a flight to LA last Wednesday.I chose these BT adapters as they have a detachable cable and most planes will have them hanging from the headphone socket, I was worried that over time it could damage the cable so wanted to be able to replace that if needed. With a full charge they lasted the 10.5 hour flight to LA from London, sound quality was good paired with my Soundcore Space one headphones.Nice little case for them to be kept in, a short charging cable, and a short 3.5mm cable. Easy to setup and get working.
