Xialvyu Beach Towel, Microfibre Beach Towels for Adults and Kids.A large but quite thin and lightweight microfibre beach towel.Certainly a decent size for the beach with the added bonus of the claims to repel sand, unlike a traditional towel. Although as we've not yet reached anywhere near warm weather here in the UK I can't put this in to practice.As a towel it works as it should and does dry you quite effectively and it does dry itself very quickly as well.It's made ok overall. As mentioned it's a decent size but not in any way fluffy, but it has a really nice, bright, bold and colourful flamingo design and the edges are well stitched.Being lightweight this is a great option for when travelling as when folded it takes up way less space than a traditional towel.This towel won't win any quality awards but it is what it is and the satisfactory drying properties and light weight make it a viable option when you don't want to carry around a heavy, bulky old fashioned towel.

When I unpacked this towel, I was very sceptical and thought that this will not be good at drying or absorbing water. I tried one after a shower and was very surprised to see how good it works compared to the microfiber towels that I have in my home. They were perfect to size to sit on as well for the kids.They are about the size of a bath sheet and really absorbent. The colour and design are as pictured. The texture is a bit clingy, so it might take a while to get used to. You need to pat dry with it rather than rub. The material was soft as well.Will be using this a lot once the summer kicks in.

This is a very soft bath towel made of tightly woven microfibre fabric, giving it the ability to dry quickly. It resembles a thin cleaning cloth in texture and allegedly does not allow sand to stick to it (although I have not been able to test this aspect of it). It is not as shiny as some other microfibre towels I have seen and reminds me more of a traditional towel, which feels nicer on the skin.The bright and vivid patterns available are all lovely designs, suitable for both children and adults. The pattern is on one side only, with the other side being plain white.At less than the weight of a bottle of water, it is compact and light enough to fit in a beach or swim bag.

Gone are the days where beach towels took up half your suitcase! - this bath-towel sized towel rolls up to the size of about 2 mugs,which makes it great for travelling, hiking and days out, where space is limited. For a towel, it’s also quite light (just under 270g)-again, a plus when you’re travelling by air & have a weight limit. The pattern is lovely and bright, and the towel itself feels soft, and is well constructed with a good finishing stitch all the way round, so it’s not going to fray when it’s washed. It’s very thin compared to a normal towel - but that’s the point…it’s for travel, not everyday use, and it really makes no difference how thick it is when you’re lying it on the sand, or on a sun-lounger. Absorbency-wise, it’s microfibre…so don’t expect it to feel like drying yourself with a proper 100% cotton towel- but it dries you perfectly well, and as with all microfibre textile, the towel itself dries again in no time at all. I can see this towel being great as a picnic blanket, too. All in all, this is the perfect towel for travel/ days out, and at £7.99 a great price, as well!

I wanted a towel that would dry me well, but wasn't as big and bulky as a traditional towel and this microfibre towel for the bill. It is a decent size so will cover your sun lounger or be the perfect size for lying on on the beach. It folds nice and small so doesn't take up too much room in your beach bag. The material is very thin, but is surprisingly absorbent. It also doesn't take very long at all for the towel to dry out once used. As it is quite lightweight it can blow off the sun longer if there's a breeze, but I used clips to hold it in place. Great towel for beach days.

Made of 100% polyester, this beach towel arrived vacuum packed. Once taken out of the packaging and shaken a few times it became clear that this towel is a tad on the thin side.The edges of the towel are not folded and sewn (or edged) but are just stitched making the edges of the towel flat.The size (150cm by 75cm) is an ideal size to cover your sun lounger or wear wrapped round you after swimming.Although the thinness is slightly disappointing I appreciate there is a major plus point in that it makes the towel lightweight to carry or easy to fold to put in a bag.Also, the eye catching flamingo graphics makes for an ideal beach towel in looks (if not in comfort).

This towel is like most other polyester towels. It is thin, but deliberately so. It's lightweight and sand doesn't stick to it, making it ideal for using at the beach while on holiday.It dries very quickly because water doesn't soak into the towel material. The towel gets the water off your body but it evaporates more quickly because it doesn't soak into the material, it just sits on top of it.If you want thick, soft and comfortable go for a cotton towel which will weigh more heavily. If you want thin, light and quick to dry go for one of these.The pattern and size of the towel makes this more kid friendly but can still be used by adults too. Keep in mind the intended use and this is fairly good value.
