Works for What I Needed
Hey everyone, I was hesitant to buy this product, but I got it since I planned to stay in Turkey for a while. This is my experience, and maybe you will find my review helpful. First, this product is heavy okay, just like everyone said. It is small but heavy, and when you are traveling - my concern was whether or not I could take this in my carry-on, or does it need to be in the checked baggage." Answer to this question, it depends on the airline, so it's best if you call them. I took this device as a checked luggage but on a 24-inch carryon bag and added a bunch of sweaters to protect it. It weighs 17 pounds and for me, it's too heavy to lift onto the overhead cabin spot, and in my situation, I needed to be mindful of my weight limit. In my opinion, you cannot carry this in your backpack unless you can lift and walk for long periods of time in these huge international airports (just saying). Secondly, I particularly bought this to use my air fryer. I don't have a fancy air fryer, but just to give you an idea, I have the Bella Pro Series 2 qt. with 1200 watts. I got the Step Down Voltage Converter (2400 watts). The air fryer only pulled about 796 to 800 watts, I thought it would pull more, but it doesn't, so okay. I did end up using both the air fryer and my egg cooker at the same time but, the egg cooker was only 350 watts. I also used my waffle maker with no problem. If you have an expresso machine or any other type of kitchen appliance you would like to take with you on your travels, look at the wattage and how many volts the country you are in uses: I hope that makes sense. Besides that, the product is sleek and looks nice in my kitchen. It's not bulky, and it's super easy to use. A bit pricey, but hey - it works for what I need it to do.

Use US appliances in Europe - no problem with this converter!
Was moving to Europe and didn't want to leave behind many of our great small kitchen appliances. I didn't know how this thing would work and couldn't test it due to European plug, until I moved to Europe, so I took a leap of faith and purchased it! There are step up and down converters in one on here, however I wanted something that would look stylish, do the job and I need only step down not other way around so I purchased this! As soon as we came to our apartment in Europe, we wanted some tea so I plugged in our tea kettle/pot and turned it on. Viola! Watched electricity to rise up to 240V and usage by our tea pot to 850W.This was purchased for kitchen use for items like KitchenAid 6qt pro mixer, handheld mixer, Ninja Elite blender, InstantPot 8qt, 4L hot water tea pot and so on. It sits on the countertop in the corner by the window and looks like some small appliance.I haven't maxed it out on it's wattage yet, however used it with 1800W hair dryer and it was drawing around that much.I've read that you can use splitter for more outlets, but make sure it doesn't have surge protector in the splitter, as this thing has surge protection in it and when you plug in another surge protector they don't work well and will pop your breaker (tested!). Unfortunately don't have splitter without surge protector readily available so cannot test if it will work well or not. Will aquire 1 shortly and update my review then. Upon reading the description again, I decided to test the 100V outlet and run 2 appliances at once, and I'm happy I did! 2 appliances running at the same time from 2 outlets! If you need electricity down converter, this thing works beautifully! It's also stylish and modern.Warning! It's heavy!!! Don't be fooled by the looks of it, it's very heavy, yet compact and stylish.

Amazing product but a but pricy.
I brought this product so i can use 110V appliances outside of the US. It has worked great thus far, and it looks modern and fits my decor perfectly. I'm now able to view information as input voltage and power utilization. I would of bought another one but the price is a big deterrent.

Great Size n Protection
Love it, wonderful compact size footprint for your countertop or shelf, great engineering with a built-in surge protector n circuit breaker. I Love the digital voltage readout, plus the digital wattage being used while the unit is in use. I live in the Philippines n I have a number of 120v items. I have other converters that shelf n countertop sizes overtook to much space, I was pleased to find this wonderful manufacturer. To me Rated Number One Converter on the market today. Well worth the money for a great design converter.

Works in Europe
I was worried that it wouldn’t work because I was taking my kitchenaid pro and my vitamix a2300 with me to Europe. It works perfectly fine for both of them!!! I couldn’t be happier.

Perfect for the kitchen, looks nice
We’ve been using this for several months to power numerous 120V appliances - many high wattage - from a 230V mains with no issues at all. Devices we’ve used include a kettle, panini press, rice cooker, food processor, immersion blender, and vacuum sealer.Unlike most transformers I’ve seen, this looks quite nice and doesn’t take up much counter space. One guest actually thought it was a WiFi router!

Stopped working after three months
Nicely designed step-down transformer. I used it to power a 1500W toaster oven. It's efficient (case doesn't get too hot), and worked well. The display of current usage is nice. A minor negative is that the power button is electronic, meaning that when our house loses power momentarily, then the transformer will power itself off until it's manually restarted.HOWEVER... after about three months, the transformer developed a loud 60 Hz buzz when it was in use. A week after that, it died entirely. It won't turn out at all: no power, no display, nothing.[Update: the company contacted me soon after posting this review and refunded my purchase price. I've ordered another, so maybe this was a one-off defect.]
