There's a usbc port, a button and two wheels to control the color temperature and brightness. It's a shiftcam for 1/4 of the price.Whether this slips depends on your case. I tried this on a number of magsafe cases, I kinda am a case ho, , and so far ESR cases I have had the stronger internal magnets. This thing, as well as the grip handle sold seperatly, snap on and hold with good force.

I like this little gadget for up close photos. It’s irritating the magnetic piece means I have to take my phone case apart to use it and with my small hands it means I have nothing on the back to help hold my phone. The magnetic piece is very strong and doesn’t slide a bit.

First of all I really love my Ulanzi MA 35 grip. It makes shooting pictures with your smartphone feel like you are using a regular camera. I decided to get the Ulanzi Magnetized Selfie Light as it is a separate accessory for the grip. You can still the selfie light without the grip so long as you have some MagSafe cases or rings to your phone. This selfie light replaces all my previous clip on fill in lights. I always found clipping a light to the phone cumbersome. The ability to use magnets to attach to your phone is the next level indeed.For context, I am using a Samsung S24 Ultra in a UAG Monarch Pro Klevar case. The light secures very well to the magnets on the case. You can position the flash either forward or backwards. The round design does not appear in any of my wide-angle shots. You have a few rotating dials to choose the light of your choice immediately. This is awesome instead of cycling through options like other models. The light is rechargeable via a type USB C.As for using the MA 35 Grip, the thickness of the flashlight coupled with the grip does not allow wide angle shots. I keep getting the grip in my pictures. Once you zoom out, you will be fine. I think the issue is the placement of my lenses on this smartphone. Your mileage may vary depending on what phone you have.Aside from that, this is my selfie light I gravitate towards as it is the easiest to carry and uses magnets to attach to your phone. You can also use this light on many metal surfaces for creative lighting exposures.4.5 Stars!
