If you love the Chicago Racketeers, you will love this!
Read the other Chicago Racketeers books first. While this could be a standalone, it makes more sense to read it after Seriously Pucked. This is one of my favourite Why Choose romances. If you loved 'Pucking Around' by Emily Rath, I'd definitely recommend trying this. There are crossed swords, three guys falling for one girl, and some serious hockey love.Luna, the FMC, is a fiercely independent businesswoman who thinks she knows what she wants from life. Men aren't even on her radar. However, Cam, Alexi and Owen are determined to change her mind.* Guys fall first* Hockey romance* Polyamorous* Grump x sunshine* Age Gap* Single Dad* Billionaire* Spicy

Why-choose?
Icing It is a steamy, fun why-choose rom com! No cheating, and a guaranteed HEAI recently had the pleasure of reading 'Icing It' by Emma Foxx and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The story follows the journey of Luna, covering a different dynamic but with all the spice.

More Why Choose Fun
This time Luna took centre stage in this one woman three men scenario and the result was sexy and at times thoughtful. I liked the dynamic between Cam and Alexsei as this was different from the Dani's situation in the earlier books and thought it was perfectly reasonable for Owen to be wary in the circumstances. This was a relaxing, enjoyable read.

Review
🏒 Hockey romance🧁 MMFM💻 Why choose🏒 Bossy billionaire🧁 Single Dad💻 No third act breakup 🙌🏻🏒 Age gapI wish I’d read the other four books in this series before this one, and not because I felt lost working my way through the pages of Icing It but solely because I want to know the back stories of all the other characters who made an appearance in this! I will be going back to read them all.The chemistry between the characters was clear to see from the get go and just worked oh so well. I really liked the relationship between Alexsie and Cam, it was beautiful. Luna needed Alexsie, Cam and Owen all in slightly different ways to bring out the most in her and it was so worth it to see.At this point Emma has now cemented herself as a new go to author for me.

Couldn’t put it down
The second foursome from Emma Foxx and I’m in love! It’s funny, sweet with three gorgeous heroes and a superbly sassy heroine. They all bring something different, from pure sunshine to innate dominance. With heroes like these, it’s easy to understand the “why choose” option!

Another fun rom-com with loveable characters from Emma Foxx
Primary Tropes/Features: Rom-com, Reverse Harem (with: MF, MM, MFM, MFMM), MM-romance, Sports romance - hockey, Teammate’s sister, bi-awakeningSecondary Tropes/Features: Billionaire hero, Age gap (12 years), Gold retriever hero, He falls first, Kink depiction.Safety warning/Triggers: N/A‘Icing it’ was a fun and enjoyable reverse harem rom-com featuring characters that we’ve seen a little of in the Chicago Racketeers series (which starts with: Puck One Night Stands)As the best friend to Dani and sister to Crew (two of the main characters in the Chicago Racketeers series), Luna is the character we know the most about. She is a witty, sharp, and smart individual who brings an air of humour and fun. She’s been overshadowed by her brother and lived a life ruled by hockey for as long as she can remember and has come to resent what hockey stole from her. Partly due to this she feels she has to do it all by herself so when three men that all treat her differently and suit the different sides to her, enter her life it creates a fun romance that is not without its challenges, especially when two of those men live a life ruled by hockey. Luna was a likeable character and felt well developed. She was a character whose sun-shiny ways were fun to read about and I enjoyed learning more about her as the book progressed.Cameron was the bossy and full-of-himself billionaire. He was a confrontational character who told others like it was but struggled being on the receiving end of the attitude he usually displayed when faced with Luna. He ended up being a complex character whose depths were slowly revealed as the relationships in this book developed and his character development as a result was easily enjoyable. Alexsei was the cheerful, upbeat, and affectionate hockey player who I and the other characters adored. His personality, optimistic outlook, and slight vulnerability were endearing. He fell hard and fast and I fell just as hard for him, enjoying his interactions with all the characters and his development throughout the book. Owen was the responsible gentleman. The guy who put everyone first and appeared competent when it came to every aspect of life. Though this man had no idea how to flirt so was initially awkward and a little unsure, that was until he was in the bedroom and then his confidence knew no bounds. His character development felt as little less obvious than Alexsei’s and Cameron’s as theirs were so tied together but his development was just as important and highlighted a different aspect of the entire relationship dynamic/development.The relationship between Luna, Alexsei, and Cameron developed from a three day fling where Alexsei fell hard and fast and Cameron would do anything to get Luna to give his best friend a chance. The nature of their personalities and Luna’s independence, Cameron’s hidden feelings for Alexsei, and Cam and Luna learning to love one another, made this a complex but fun romance development with plenty of steamy scenes. Owen and Luna’s relationship was more traditional with humour brought in through Owen thinking he’d made a complete arse of himself, running her first impression of him and leaving her totally out of his league. It was made more complex when Owen learnt that Alexsei was her boyfriend and he came with own boyfriend Cameron. The overall relationship development was a big focus of the book - normalising a unique love story and giving focus to all the individual growing relationships, fear, insecurities, and excitement that came with it.Alexsei and Cameron’s relationship development does deserve a further mention. These two had been best friends since college and shared women multiple times, even having a short term steady girlfriend together. Cameron had been in love with Alexsei for a long time but with Alex being heterosexual their sexual encounters became the only way for Cam to be able to touch Alex and revel in knowing exactly how to make him feel good. The pining was enjoyable, especially coming from the broody billionaire and when Alex finally began to realise there were more than just feelings of friendship or sex between them and began to love how wild he drove Cameron I couldn’t get enough. Their relationship development was great and I loved the fun and vulnerability it brought to both of the characters, especially when Cameron was in awe of how he could now touch and be with Alex how he always wanted to.The book is heavily focused on the relationship developments and subsequent spice so there isn’t much plot development outside of that and the third act conflict is obvious however, there was real thought and emotion present in this book. It was complex in parts and always enjoyable. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Emma Foxx - these two authors together create fun rom-coms to remember with loveable characters.

Baker, Hockey, and Spicy men come together for a smoking good time
Love, love, loved this book. I had to wait until I had some time off from work and I'm glad I did as I inhaled this book. While it is not necessary to read about Cookie and co prior to reading this book it does give an idea of who some of the secondary characters are but can easily be read as a stand alone. This book follows Luna and her 3 men - Alexesi, Cam, and Owen - and how their relationship develops and evolves and how Alexesi and Cam's does too. It has fun and witty banter between the main characters and some very sexy time with the group (definitely hot). Initially reading it Cam was my least favorite but then, over the course of the story he became my most favorite of the group. Ends with a well deserved HEA and definitely get the bonus chapter. As someone from Ohio it was awesome to see OSU represented. I have been looking forward to this story since the end of Puck One Night Stand so very very glad Luna got her story. Loved it and highly recommend. 5 stars all the way!!

Fun Hockey Romance!
Icing it is a fun and spicy why-choose rom com that is just all around a good time!"Hot is too distracting right now. Hot is bad. Hot is dangerous"I've recently found myself binge reading why-choose romances, and Emma Fox is quickly rising in the ranks of my go-to rom com why choose authors. I felt that all the guys had their own unique voice and personality, which can sometimes be lacking when it come to this genre. Emma Fox does a great job of developing relatable, complex characters that are able to grow throughout the book and absolutely melt your heart while doing it.I loved Luna as our leading lady, she was strong, independent, intelligent and knew what she wanted. At the same time, she wasn't afraid to be vulnerable and the strong communication between everyone was a breath of fresh air.I also especially love the development between Cam and Alexsei. The tension, the self-discovery, the resulting steam... chefs kissThis book is pretty quick burn on the romance, with some of the best spicy content I've seen from Emma Foxx so far! *Fans Self*Overall rating: 4/5Spice Rating: 4/5

Spicy book
Wow! This book was hot! The spice starts right at the beginning and keeps on going. Not all the book is about though, there is a plot too. This book has hockey in it and also baked goods because Luna bakes and has a shop too. Luna feels like she's too busy for a relationship but would like to have a few nights with a couple guys to have fun. Cam, who is a billionaire grumpy nerd type, know his friend Alexsei, hockey player, likes Luna, heard her talking and asks her to go home with him and Alexsei. They end up having a wild spicy night and then some.Luna will end up meeting Owen, single dad and assistant coach. He ends up being just as infatuated in her as Alexsei and Cam are. Cam is the one that will take a little more time to want more with her and really enjoyed watching them build their relationship. Also, Alexsei and Cam together is hot. Luna isn't sure she has the time for a relationship. Will the four of them figure everything out? You need to read to see.Thank you to the author and Good Girls pr for this book. This review is my honest opinion of this book.

On my list…
And not necessarily my good list. I’ve read MANY poly books with MM, and this one is the first one that I’ve really felt just wasn’t done well within the MMF throuple. I enjoyed Owen, and his son Brady, and I did like the FMC as well, but Alexsei was not a fleshed out character, and Cam… he’s on my list of most disliked MMCs. He had potential, but I just didn’t really feel the connection with him and the FMC like I did with the other MMCs. Even flat Alexsei was better and had a more strong and believable connection with Luna than he really did with Cam or Cam with Luna. Idk, there were def some okay parts, and it’s not a bad book, but it could have been a lot better in a few different ways. Luna’s brother Crew and her BFF Dani were just not great to the FMC, they’re said to be, but their interactions with her were just disappointing, and there was quite a bit that didn’t really feel resolved or fleshed out. Super smutty though, I actually had to scroll through a couple because they were just TOO long and drawn out and because I didn’t like Cam all that much.
