Amazing and a very good read very interesting although I haven't finished reading everything. That's what's good about it I can always go back to reference. Or better still I can always get advice from the man himself as I attend Tony's spin classes.I would definitely recommend this book as it teaches you all the techniques you need to know. It enable you to have a successful spin/cycle with minimal injuries as it's all about technique to minimise risk of injuries. And there's lots of handy tips and tricks in there.I will continue to strongly recommend this book as it's an easy read. And it teaches you all you ever need to know regarding cycling. Even the most experienced cyclists will still learn something new from this book.

Brilliant book by a brilliant spin instructor
I am lucky enough to be able to attend Tony Tempest's (the author) spin classes in London, when I can get a space! He is an absolutely brilliant spin instructor - head and shoulders above his peer in my local gyms as he really understands spinning, motivation and creates lively, focussed sessions that really work. Having been a keen spinner for well over 14 years in umpteen gyms - he is a stand out. Hearing that he had a book I was really keen to get a copy - have never had any kind of book at all before and I have learned loads - I would recommend this as much for beginner spinners as for old timers like me!

All cyclists - this is worth a read!
For anyone getting serious about their indoor cycling, spin or rpm training, cyclists through to coaches and instructors, this easily written little book covers it all. Something for everyone, from beginners wanting to improve their fitness safely, through to serious cyclists with the desire to improve technique and optimise their training. The book is nicely structured so you can 'dip-in' where you need, or read it cover-to-cover if thats your thing. Whatever your experience or ambitions in indoor cycling and spin though, there will be something to learn here.

Guru of Spinning
The first time I ever took part a spinning exercise was back in 2007 for Charity British Heart Foundation for 60 minutes, after the event next day my muscles were so extremely sore, I couldn't walk for three days. Spinning become my least favourite class... Fast forward couple moons ago I injured my knees, I was out of action and shape, I have decided to put my act together joined gym in July, one of my gym mate she introduce me to Tony's spinning classes, I was so amazed about the environment and his teaching style, after couple classes with Tony, Spinning become one of my favourite classes. I started with one session a month and now doing 5 to 7 sessions a week.Tony is well prepared and organised from start to end and beyond, He makes sure everyone feels welcomed, cared about and no one messed out, and he always have time for everyone and mentors’ individuals with feedback.I strongly recommend this book for everyone.

Easy to read, clear sections, so much info, already improved my spinning!
Spin Perfect by Tony Tempest has been a great little spinning bible! I can see that I will keep coming back to it as I continue my spinning sessions. So far its already helped me get my set up sorted on the bike and given me some good advice on 'looking after myself' or as Tony explains 'I.T' stands for intelligent training which covers areas such as nutrition, how to pace yourself during and between sessions and tracking progress. The book is jam packed with valuable info and photos but also manages to be areally easy read in clearly defined sections. Its the perfect combo of spinning facts, tips and advice and it also made me laugh in places! The most valuable £4.50 I have spent on myself!

Read this if you do spin!
I’ve been attending Tony Tempest’s spin classes a couple of times a week for about two years now, they are by far the best spin classes I’ve ever done. I’ve lost weight and improved my strength, fitness and muscle tone. This book reinforces everything he goes through in the class, such as position, setting up the bike, finding your minimum level etc, which so often other instructors miss out. I would recommend this book for anyone who does spin. It will optimise your work out and improve your position and technique on the bike, which I hadn’t realised before was so integral to burning calories and toning.

just fantastic!
Tony really knows what he is talking about! The book is easy to read, well-described and supported with some illustrations.I was an absolute cycling beginner but the great information about the right technique to not just avoid injuries but to maximize your power really helped me not only to make spinning more fun (or fun at all) but to become excited about cycling in general and to be able to transfer this new knowledge onto my road bike. Basically I discovered a new hobby because of Tony's fantastic spinning classes! I haven't had a comparable training ever.

Clear and accessible - perfect to improve indoor spin
Really great book to improve knowledge on indoor cycling. I've been attending Tony's classes for more than a year now and the background in the book is perfect to help me - slowly but surely - improve technique. It doesn't matter whether you go to Tony's class though - this book will help you no matter what. It's written clearly and with humility - no matter what your level - you will definitely learn something and improve!
