Bought it for my gerber truss multitool, perfect fit, love the clip on the backside so can quickly be removed from belt if needed without having to take belt off, it’s more rugged than the belt case the gerber originally came with

It falls off my belt easily so the attachment for the belt loop is very welcome. The problem I've had with it is when my kids climb on my back. I don't think it's designed for a 13-year-old to use as a step stool. That's not really a realistic expectation of this kind of tool anyway, but it still tore and I ended up buying a second one and being more careful with it. It's very useful because there Gerber I was keeping in it was causing problems in my pocket, which now carries much less.

After searching through many found that this is the best amongst a few nylon or leather sheaths I carry the Leatherman surge in it with two bit kits mini sharpie and ratcheting extension been carrying for four months putting it on and off no less than four times a day and is holding up very well the metal link is fine but the carabiner is junk.
