With some basic soldering skills it was easy enough to install in my copy of Pokemon Emerald. Just note which terminal has the straight tab and which one has the bent tab since, at least in my case, it was the reverse of the original.

Worked flawlessly, easy to solder, no duds so far. I’ve installed these in 5 GBC cartridges so far.

I needed to replace the backup battery for my Japanese copy of Pokemon Silver, (ポケットモンスター銀,) and chose this product for the extra batteries in case I wanted to restore other game paks in the future. Best batteries for games

I have 8-10 Gameboy/Gameboy Color games with dead batteries and I wanted to replace those so I can save my games! These are exactly what I needed. They fit great, seem well made and VERY easy to install thanks to the tabs. They're small so you may want to use tweezers when installing them! Overall, this package is a great value for the money. Only time will tell if the battery life holds up but so far, so good!

Checked with multi-meter. Batteries have a 3.33V charge, which is within the spec for a 3V CR1616 battery. I use these in Game Boy/Game Boy Color games as a replacement battery for saving. Only time will tell if they are quality, but first impressions are all pointing in the right direction.
