Works really well. The string mechanism allows you to hug the neck of the bottle too and the whole bottle cools really well with this sleeve. Nice design too

Great little gadget. I had it in the freezer for an hour, but I think less would be ok, then slipped it on the bottle of champagne and pulled the drawstring right. Four hours later it was still cold enough to drink in our hotel room after driving there.

i have tried a few different brands for chilling bottles of champagne and this is the best so far the le creuset one is crap... more expensive and did not really work at all for chilling bottles (only good for keeping an already chilled bottle cold for a short while) takes about 5 minutes to chill a bottle from room temperature to drinking temperature i like to have 2 of them, that way if i want to chill a bottle of bubbly to be really cold, i use the first one for 5 minutes and then put the second one on for 5 minutes and then you have a really cold bottle to drink have bought this again for myself and friends

Does what it says it will! Great for people like me who will have white wine of champagne in the cupboard for ages and then decide on a whim that I really fancy some. Chills a bottle well enough in 10 minutes, leave the bottle in there while you drink the first glass (and subsequent glasses) and itll stay ice cold for about 1.5 hours.
