RAM works as intended and is as described.
The RAM is listed as using name brand chips. In my case, the chips are Micron. Everything seems stable and the system booted on first attempt after inserting the memory. Very disappointed with product and NV*TEK
First of all, I am very dissatisfied with the memory that was sent as the parts were defective on arrival. Upon putting my request to send back the defective memory and request a refund, I was once again given an additional shock. NV*TEK decided that they will take a chunk of the refund amount for a restocking fee which I believe does not fall under the Amazon refund policy. I would be ok with this if the reason I sent the product back was due to an error on my part, but to be charged a fairly large sum for restocking bad defective memory sent out is completely unacceptable. I will never purchase anything from this vendor. I simply cannot afford the restocking fees.
