This is a great light to have on your nightstand! The little power button has a light that isn't overly bright which helps you easily find it in the dark. The light/lamp itself is just heavy enough to not easily tip over. The light works perfectly for a small desk. It is lightweight and the touch sensitive feature works quite well. All in all, a great little lamp at a reasonable price.

The first thing I noticed was how heavy & sturdy this lamp is made- unlike so many others that topple so easily, this one is weighted at the bottom & throughout. The LED illumination comes from a disk at the top that can tilt any direction (but do NOT twist or turn it in circles, for the sake of inner wiring), so you can angle this away from you (toward a wall etc.) for indirect lighting just as easily as towards you for reading or other close work. It makes an excellent lamp whether on a desk, end table or night stand, especially because with a touch, you can raise or lower the light level- there are 7 options, all the way down to "night light" level, & the latest setting is committed to memory. This light even has 2 options (45 & 60 minutes) for timed use. The style is definitely modern-industrial, & the on-off- ^ & v switch is clear, offering a glimpse into the circuitry, as well as maintaining a tiny bit of light just for the on-off button so you can easily find it in the dark- I really like that idea. The description refers to this lamp as "portable" but what they apparently meant is that it's small enough to relocate easily- bear in mind that it's a corded electric light, not a rechargeable one. Assembly was very easy & minimal, & it's a very welcome addition to my home.

This desk lamp came packed well and was easy to assemble. I like the 4000K light color which is not too blue or yellow. I also like that the light can be tilted in any direction to focus the light where you want it. It has a good solid feel to it and the base has enough weight that it would not be easily knocked over.It has 7 brightness levels which are selected by tapping the UP or DOWN buttons. You can also long press the UP button to go to the highest brightness setting or long press the DOWN button to go to the lowest brightness setting.The lamp remembers you last brightness setting when you turn it off and back on. This functionality worked on 6 brightness levels, but on my lamp if it was on the lowest brightness setting, when I turned it back on it came on to the middle brightness level instead. I tried this several times and every time it did the same thing.One minor thing I don't like is that the cord plugs in about 3 inches up the side of the lamp instead of at the base which is more common. Some of the product images make it look like the cord comes out of the base.

My youngest daughter leapt at this when it arrived. I thought it would be useful as a desk/bed lamp elsewhere, but as is often the case with the vine items I nab... one of the family members suddenly 'needed' it themselves. :DShe's using it as a nice bedside lamp on her dresser. It does seem to remember the last setting when turned on/off. It may be a touch too bright for a night light, but when they need a dim light when her sister is coming in late it's ideal.

I like the weight of the base of this lamp - I do not think it will be easy to knock off or fall. It also has a rubbery textured pad on the bottom which will help with stability.I plan to use it on my desk, near the edge so that a plant I have on the floor will also get light from the lamp. This lamp has a 2-prong electric plug.

This is really a nice desk lamp. The base is heavy so there is no tipping. Switches on and off easily and has 6 levels from dim to bright. The top disk light is adjustable to center the light where you want it to go. Easy to put together. Very happy with this light and the price.

The construction seems very solid. It is dimmable and provides a bright white light at its highest setting. It also has a night light mode for a soft glow. It has a timer function to automatically turn off after a specified amount of time. The only thing I’m not crazy about is where the power cord exits the light. It’s about 3 inches above the base. I prefer cords that exit a lamp at the bottom. Other than that, I really like the lamp.
