This is wonderful for wood burning. I was burning with a soldering iron and kept messing up because the tip wasnt evenly heated plus the tool itself was a gun shape instead of a pencil shape which made things more difficult. While waiting for this to be shipped, I did go to Harbor Freight and buy a regular wood burner with a regular tip (none to switch to) for $3 and this arrived a couple of days afterward. I love the variety of tips and love learning what to use them for via Skillshare and YouTube. Now I can use a special tip on this wood burner plus have the regular wood burner on hand in case it is necessary to use it like for outlining or lettering or something when I am using the shader or a design tip.

I purchased this set to try my hand at pyrography. I'm overall pleased with it. It has a lot of different attachments to try and a nice container to hold them. The only thing I wish it had was a sleeve for your fingers as this gets very hot and I had to take multiple breaks. Otherwise good value for the price.

As a beginner the cost was reasonable. It is easy to use and to change the nibs.

It works great with a big but. The tips get so hot that they also get soft. They need to be made of a better mental.

I use this thing to smooth down my 3D pen creations, & it's not terrible for that, but it would benefit greatly from a temperature control option... that having been said, for its price, it's easily an excellent buy. I would recommend it.

Very nice tool for a single temp pen. Shades very well and a nice assortment of nibs.
