The cooktop automatically reduces the wattage to each burner when both are used. This essentially renderes the second burner almost useless. After about 4 weeks of use, the right burner has an error code and is no longer operational.Stay away from this product..I would like to update my review above. This review was written to inform and not a call to action. But the seller promptly responded and asked how it could address my concerns. This is pretty impressive. It apologized and stood behind it's product. I am very happy to report that everything worked out and I am very satisfied.

Plusses first; It heats the pans very quickly, I can cook an omelet in half the time as on my gas range. The temperature control is very good. It doesn't produce tons of extra heat and turn the kitchen into a sauna which is great for cooking in the summer. It is small and thin enough to fit into a wide cabinet drawer for out of site storage. It will run from a 120v/15amp circuit.Now the minusses; The cooling fans for the internal components are rather loud, I have to turn up the TV a bit to hear it. It makes a 60Hz buzzing sound when ever a burner is on. That along with the fan noise makes this portable cooktop a bit loud. The top surface is black tempered glass and shows every speck of dirt. It is hard as hell to get the glass clean with no streaks. EDIT 5/24/24. I figured out how to clean the glass properly; after the glass surface has cooled to the touch... 1st wipe with a paper towel, 2nd take a magic eraser, wet it & drip a few drops of liquid dish soap into it & squeeze it together, 3rd scrub the cooktop in a circular motion over the entire surface 4 or 5 times using light pressure, 4th wipe up the extra liquid, 5th use your preferred glass cleaner to clean the streaks off.Overall the minusses don't cancel out the plusses. Thus far it is working as I wished it to. Don’t buy, it’s awful. 2 burners can’t work at the same time, it will give you a faulty error. Last time when I used it, it started to smell like burning wire in the house, and it wasn’t even on the highest output mode. After that, the other burner worked maybe for a day and now the thing is completely dead. I’m concerned for people’s safety regarding to the burning smell that comes from the cooktop while using. Please stay away. I’m currently in contact with the manufacturer, they have not given me a solution yet.seller has refunded the order.

You never really think about things until they happen to you. I have sustained an injury which is a slow healing process. That means standing at a stove and carrying a lot of things is not easy for me and in most cases nearly impossible.My husband went away for a week on a job and I was frustrated. I was thinking I wished I had found a single burner instead, but as it turns out, this is quite handy.PLUGYou will need a grounded outlet. If you need an extension cord, be sure it is appliance rated. This demands a high amount of energy to run.WHAT TO USEI got this because we have all stainless steel and cast iron cookware. This is perfect for us. There is a magnet included in this set so if you have doubts, you can use it to test if it will work or not.PERFORMANCEWOW. This thing is amazing. There is a boost setting for boiling water like for noodles which is epic. That means I can warm up sauce or other items for noodles and then quickly boil water and have spaghetti. Of course, stupid me forgot that I have to use two canes so dumping boiling water is not possible . I had to leave it in place until it cooled off and then slowly pour it into something leak proof to take it to the sink.CONTROLSThe controls are touch screen and they all work well. The fan does make some noise, so be aware of that.HOT WARNINGI like the heat warning so that you know that the burner has been on which is helpful.CLEANINGThis cleans easily, but I will warn you. If you plan to use cast iron on this, it will scratch easily so keep that in mind.PORTABLEThis will be great to bring to my off grid shed with a long extension cord for special breakfast days with my husband for our getaway days. Once I no longer need to use this when alone, I know we can find uses for it when traveling or in need of extra cooking space outside on a clear day.THE BOTTOM LINEI was not sure when I got this it was a good idea, but now I am glad we got it. It needs some room so be sure you have the room for it- as it has to have ventilation.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. As silly as this seems, having this handy for times my husband has to leave me at home for a while is a life saver. I can actually cook at my dining room table and have decent food until I am healed from injuries. That is exciting for me. After I am doing better, we can bring it places if we need a cook top.

Not sure why I didn’t pick up one of these sooner. Just plug in. The top doesn’t scratch and dirt just wipes up. No burner rings to scrub clean. The hest transfer is so fast, careful for bottom burning. Start low..and work up the heat. What you waiting for? This cook top is top notch

Ive had a single one before (different brand) and was less than impressed. This double induction hob is great. I can leave food to simmer and not worry about the house filling with smoke. The heat level seems spot on, very easy to clean and definitely worth getting.

Die Doppel Induktionskochplatte wurde schnell geliefert. Angenehmes bedienen beider Seiten in Stufen, die man auch gebrauchen kann – nicht so wie an unserer vorherigen Platte, bei der es entweder zu Heiß oder dann zu kalt war. Lediglich bei der Zeiteinstellung läuft der Timer etwas zu schnell hoch – ist aber kein Problem.Sie lässt sich auch prima reinigen und nicht so wie unsere alte, die überall Ecken und Kanten hatte, in denen sich alles Mögliche absetzte.Die Doppel Induktionskochplatte ist ein gutes Gerät.Wir haben die Platte so gut wie täglich in Gebrauch und nach etlichen Monaten ging leider plötzlich die rechte Seite nicht mehr. Nach kurzer angenehmer Kontaktaufnahme mit Gasland Chef wurde uns ein Ersatzgerät in kürzester Zeit zugeschickt. Diesen Superservice würde ich mir auch bei anderen Firmen wünschen.Bei Gasland Chef ist man gut aufgehoben.

Dopo una vasta ricerca la scelta è caduta su questa piastra che ha due zone di cottura ma, a differenza di altre marche, ha un unico vetro. Questo è fondamentale per una pulizia perfetta. Anche prodotti di marche più blasonate hanno due vetri separati da una barra di alluminio, ma questo porta ad un accumulo di residui.Utilizzato in una casa di villeggiatura, funziona bene. Come per tutte le piastre a induzione portatili le ventole fanno un poco di rumore, minore comunque del rumore di una cappa di aspirazione, per fare un paragone. Ottimo acquisto. Credo sia perfetto anche per le vacanze in campeggio.
