Ok I spent way too much to much researching chalk buckets and wanted one that looked cooler than the weird neon ones or boring black ones (no hate to the companies that make those or people who use them, I just didn't like them personally) I have an affinity for topo maps so when I saw this bucket I knew it was the one, and ordered it without really paying attention to the features. Thus I was extremely pleased when it arrived and it had all the features I wanted and appeared very well made. It has a magnetic closure which I'm very excited about, pockets on both sides, and is nice and sturdy and stands up on its own. Has little loops for brushes as well. Also it was way more affordable than many of the other more boring ones! Highly recommend.

The Survivor Chalk Bucket is an excellent choice for climbers who are looking for a versatile, functional, and stylish chalk bag. Great challenge bag and chalk ball works great as well. The extra pockets in the chalk bag and brush holder are perfect for carrying what you need around. The loop that can go around your chest for longer climbs is equally as great as a feature, overall a very good product.

The bucket itself is very roomy, and the various pockets are super convenient for storing brushes, tape, clippers, even a large cell phone. The one downside is that the zippers become stuck very quickly and easily. After about a month of using the bucket two to three times a week, the zipper on one side became stuck and physically tore out from the stitches of the pocket. Another month goes by and the zipper on the opposite side had the same issue. Mind my hands are very sweaty and chalk doesn’t last on them very long, and I do not repeatedly zip and unzip during each session, usually just once or twice per. Unless you feel like washing and cleaning off the zippers frequently, may just be easier to leave the pockets unzipped.

I love this chalk bag, the way it functions is perfect it keeps all the chalk inside the the bag and the chalk sock allowed the perfect amount out on your hands without making a mess in the bag. I love the design it’s super cool and even just for functionality the bag is well made and easy to use well worth the price.

I originally bought this bag for the good price point and attractive design. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. The two pouches are an added benefit that other bags I looked at, at this price, did not have. The rear pouch is big enough for a a small wallet and keys. It is not deep enough to fit a modern iPhone however. The front pouch is perfect for tape, lip balm, and/or salve for your hands. The bag is 6" tall and the opening diameter is between 4.5"-5.5" (it is more oval than circle). My hand (size large glove) fits into the bag with no issues. The when fully cinched, the opening still has about a .5 cm hole. Overall I would recommend this chalk bag.

When I first got the bucket, I received it with a manufacturing defect, and I couldn't use the buckle features of the bucket as on one of the sides the male and female were swapped. I evidently could not use it so I sent Survivor Support an email and they got back to me in about 40 min, and after a short exchange they said they would send me a new one free of charge. It got to me about a week later (faster than Amazon's standard shipping) and I've been using it ever since. It's a very nice quality, and once you work it in a bit, the material becomes a fair bit more flexible, which is nice for storage in a gym bag. I've also enjoyed the pockets on it as I can carry pretty much everything I need for bouldering just on the bucket, and the magnetic closure is a big upgrade from other velcro closures I've used before. - Long story short, I had a manufacturing defect, but support sent me a new one instantly, free of charge, and I've been happy with it ever since.

I got this chalk bag around when I first started climbing and I absolutely love it. It is fairly lightweight, has a great design, and is very comfortable. The bag is extremely adjustable and high quality and a must have for those extra hard sends. I got to talk to a representative about a miscommunication unrelated to this product and their team was very friendly and went above and beyond in sorting it out. I highly recommend the Survivor brand and this product.
