When it comes to 3D printing, having a reliable, no-fuss white PLA is essential, and this eSUN PLA Basic filament is exactly that. I've used several eSUN filaments before and this "Basic" line continues to deliver the quality I expect from the brand. The print quality is excellent. The white is a clean, bright, and opaque colour, perfect for all sorts of projects, from prototypes to finished pieces that need a clean look. I've experienced no issues with pigmentation consistency. Performance-wise, it's a dream to print with. It adheres perfectly to the build plate (I use a PEI sheet) and shows great layer adhesion, resulting in strong, clean prints. I've had no clogs, jams, or any extrusion problems. The dimensional accuracy, while listed at +/- 0.05mm, has been perfectly consistent and hasn't caused any issues whatsoever. It just works.I've attached a sample print used with this filament. The winding on the 1KG cardboard spool is neat and tidy, feeding smoothly into my printer without any risk of tangles. For the price, this is an outstanding filament. It's a fantastic, reliable workhorse that I will definitely be ordering again. If you just need a spool of white PLA that you can trust to get the job done without any hassle, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended.

Great filament

Esun is the only brand I use and I have never had a problem with a print that wasnt down to my own doing.easy to use and print and dont clog. I've printed everything from fight toys to 7ft replica star wars droids with this brand.

I'm pretty pleased with how eSUN PLA performing in my Bambu P1S, on the whole. The first prints looked clean, the layers bonded well and the dimensional accuracy is impressive given the price. I ran a few functional pieces and they came out to spec without any obvious defects, which is always a nice relief. In use I did hit a minor hiccup: the cardboard spool wobbled slightly as it fed through my setup, and that caused a brief feed-issue (it flexed a little under tension). It didn’t stop the print, but it did introduce a tiny skip-line on one item. After reducing tension and securing the spool axis better the problem didn’t recur. So if you’re using it on high-speed or heavy extrusion prints, just check your spool setup. Overall though it’s good value and delivers strong performance out of the box. If you’re looking for a reliable standard filament that doesn’t cost the earth, I’d certainly recommend this one.

Terrible winding, filament kept unraveling and tangling constantly. I bought this eSun filament hoping for a smooth printing experience, but it has been nothing but frustration from the moment I loaded it. As you can see in the attached photo, the spool is a complete mess. The filament was poorly wound at the factory, causing it to unravel and tangle almost immediately. I had to stop multiple times to untangle the huge loops and birds nests forming on the spool. Even with a filament guide and careful management, it kept pulling loose strands and creating tangles that cause multiple failed prints and jammed my extruder. If you don't want to babysit your printer I'd suggest picking an alternative product.

Works well its a bit more of a longer process as my Bambu filament as the printer doesn't recognise it automatedly and the print isn't as smooth but it works well if you need filament quickly

This blue filament has been consistent and easy to print with. It feeds smoothly and has produced reliable results across a range of prints without any issues. The colour comes out clean and even, giving finished pieces a nice, solid look. Print quality has been good with strong layer adhesion and no noticeable defects when using standard settings. Overall, a dependable filament that’s straightforward to use and delivers good results.

Il filamento PLA eSUN da 1,75 mm è un ottimo materiale “da battaglia”, perfetto per l’utilizzo quotidiano e con un rapporto qualità/prezzo molto valido. Voglio sottolineare soprattutto la colorazione, perché dalle foto non sempre si capisce bene: questo è un bianco molto freddo e acceso, quasi un bianco puro/artificiale. Non va confuso con altri bianchi della stessa linea eSUN che tendono invece più verso un bianco naturale/avorio. A livello di stampa mi sono trovato molto bene. Anche senza effettuare particolari procedure di essiccazione o preparazione del filamento, stampa senza problemi. Personalmente lo utilizzo su Bambu Lab A1 impostandolo semplicemente come PLA generico e i valori funzionano perfettamente. Regge anche velocità leggermente superiori alla media, mantenendo una buona qualità finale. La finitura è ottima e soprattutto ha una copertura molto buona, con pochissima trasparenza: proprio per questo lo preferisco rispetto alla versione bianco avorio, che tende a lasciar passare più luce. Nel complesso un PLA affidabile, facile da stampare e consigliato per chi cerca un bianco brillante e uniforme.
