very versatile but slow with switching inputs
+ works as intended,+ doesn't get too hot,+ very solid build,- biggest drawback is its speed when it changes the inputs: it can take up to a few seconds and with some devices it probably tries to handshake DHCP connection a few times and it results in switching the source on and off a few times before it settles,- the other drawback to me is remote using (only) IR, I am hiding all my peripherals in the cabinet so I don't have a straight line of sight so I can't use the remote without getting up to open the cabinet, bluetooth would solve this for me. :)

Works Well With Xbox & Gaming PC
This works well for switching my Xbox Series X and gaming machine (3080) between my TV and ultra wide monitor. It also works well with a fiber optic HDMI cable I am using for the long run to my TV. A little expensive but well worth it if you swap between inputs and outputs a lot

Amazing at swapping devices between displays or mirroring an image.
Works exactly as advertised. Really nice for a two display setup where you need to switch between devices or mirror an image. The included remote makes it easy to switch from afar if you are utilizing remotes or controllers to turn on/off devices connected to it.Great picture quality and it clearly passes things through as my TV recognizes specific systems and settings through it.

Works good but DO NOT USE with the Nvidia Shield Pro (updated; read full comment)
I first purchased the Orie 22 (2x2 switcher). This 2x2 mirror output (non matrix) switch worked perfectly for me but I wanted more inputs and I didn't originally buy this because I really didn't need the matrix and I didn't need/want the eARC (because my Samsung 85" TV does the audio separation via its own eARC output hdmi). So I bit the bullet and figured I would just get the 4x2 with the extra features that I didn't need/ use....Bad idea. With the extra feature of audio separation (even tho I didn't use it and it's always off... initially) came the interference with my Nvidia Shield Pro (2022 ver, & latest updates). So what happens is that when you go to lower the volume using your Shield Pro remote, it turns on the Orei's 4x2 eARC function, which blanks the picture for about 5 seconds... on every volume down press! The eARC on the unit is now "On" and you have to turn it off by the units button or the remotes button. The volume up on the Shield does not interfere nor any other Shield Pro remote IR callouts (depresses). Now "IF" you exclusively use your TV's remote to adjust the volume, you are okay. It's only when you use the Nvidia Shield Pro's remote for the volume down. Personally I don't want to have 2 remotes in my hand so sadly I am returning this 4x2 matrix switch. I have been in contact with the Mfgr. and there remedy was/is to tape off the IR sensor on the Orei unit.... this works!... but now you can't use the Orei's remote when you want to switch inputs/outputs, which is not frequent like the volume, but it still is a bummer that I have to lose this entire feature (so now I have no matrix switch remote). In communication with Orei, which they were very nice and responsive, they admitted their IR "eARC on" callout was colliding with the Nvidea Shield Pro's volume down button. I really was hoping they said they will do a firmware update or some real solution rather than saying "tape off the IR sensor on our unit". . I think this is would be a great product if one of your input devices does not collide IR, like my Xbox series X works great (which I believe is bluetooth anyways?).Solution wise: I'm going to try the FERRISA 8K 4X2 available here on Amazon. Note: in the Shield Forums (deep search) everyone mentions the Mercedes Benz of 4x2 switchers is the "AVPro Edge AC-MX-42X 8K". But as of this writing, Amazon does not have this, and, being the Mercedes... it's also $1200. not $170. ;) I will update this review with a solution for us Shield users who want to keep the remotes volume down function.-------------------UPDATE:I've received the FERRISA 8K 4X2 and it does work fully with the Nvidia Shield Pro. There may be other 4x2 Matrix switches that fully function with the Shield, and, in contacting AVPro, their technical service dept said their model (mentioned above) does work and has been fully tested with the popular streaming device Nvidia Shield and Pro model.Amazon link to the Ferrisa: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6FCPG5Q?th=1-----------------------UPDATE: 06-27-25-----------------------The seller has responded and refunded me this 4x2 Matrix switch. Most importantly, they are going to look into a upcoming firmware update to correct the conflict with the Nvidia Shield Pro's (remote control) Volume Down button colliding with this products eARC on function/button. I wish this was prior news, but better late than never. This switch works GREAT!!!... other than the remote conflict mentioned. So this will be a 5 star review when that firmware update comes out. Any Shield users may want to contact them before purchasing this unit, hopefully they will document this update in the listing... as there are a lot of Nvidia Shield Pro users out there. :)

Works with PS5 Pro!
Took some tinkering at first to see my PS5 Pro image through my Elgato 4k Pro. I had to use Output #2 to see it. Waiting right now for another HDMI 2.1 cable to output to my monitor with Output #1. Primarly want to use this for my PS5 Pro and the upcoming Switch 2. Will update if it's easy to setup that console. Overall, I'm happy it has 4 HDMI inputs and is easy to plug-n-play, even with my minor issue. Looks and Sounds fine with no delay in OBS. And I was able to easily put it on my desk with no issue with my other tech.

Better than any AVProedge product for a fraction of $
I have a splitter connected to one of the outputs and i use this doohickey here to switch my main monitor between my 2 PCs on one output, and my LG tv + secondary monitor on the other output. Has an optical port and the audio extraction works great! Purchasing and actually being able to use low cost products like these that actually work very well is so satisfying
