Simple door pull for a pocket door
The installation was a little glitchy in trying to drill out the wood for the pull to retract into the door, so it took a bit longer than I expected. Otherwise it was a simple enough installation and sits nice and flush with the door. The small lip at the bottom of the pull is easy to grab and pull open for closing the door.

Great product for my pocket door.
I have a custom made pocket door and was having a hard time finding hardware that would fit it. This item worked perfect with its smaller than normal size. It’s well made and at a great price.

Looks nice installed, a bit of a hassle to install but not horrible.
We have an inlaw apartment that the previous owners added onto our home which has 3 pocket doors but apparently they neglected to do some of the smaller finishes. I noticed that none of the doors had a means to get them out of their pockets without sticking fingers into the gap between the door and wall. My wife wanted a solution that couldn't be seen when the door was open, so I bought these. The biggest drawback for these is that the mechanism is so long it requires pretty deep holes be drilled into the door. Installation was otherwise OK.First I traced an outline of the unit on the side of the door, along with a couple lines indicating where the long lever piece would have to be recessed. Using a forstner bit, I drilled a couple deep (2" or so) holes into the door to allow for movement of the lever. I then "traced" the outline of the unit with a utility knife for sharp edges, and used a router with flat bit to mill out the bulk of the wood. Then, fit the unit into the pocket and take note of where a protrusion on the rear of the unit (where the spring sits) aligns. Remove the unit and using the same forstner bit, drill a pocket for that spring retainer to sit. Clean up the edges of the recess with a chisel, then mount.

Good pocket door pull. Works great. We put it above the locking mechanism we got.

These aren’t made right
These aren’t made right. The back of the pull handle is supposed to stop on the back side of the plate but it’s too small and it pulls through and jams. Will return for refund. Junk.
