PFFYSun Bucket Hats for Men Women 3” Wide Brim UPF 50+ Fishing & Beach Hat

I bought this hat while on vacation in Sedona, AZ. My family likes to hike and I found the sun, even in February, was brutal on my neck and face with just a ball cap, so I wanted to try a wide brim hat.First of all, the wide brim did indeed protect me from the sun, but that would be expected. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how light this hat is. The pictures made me think the top part was a thicker material, but it's really pretty thin and light. Between that and the vents, my head never felt hot.I have a larger head than average, although not by much, and this hat is easily adjustable with a cord that goes around the base. It's big enough for hat sizes larger than mine, and can adjust to much smaller.My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the hat came folded in half in a very flat package, so there were creases in the brim that I couldn't totally flatten. But I wasn't wearing this as formal wear, so it didn't matter much at all to me.

This is a very light weight sun protection hat. Baseball caps, especially those dreadfully dangerous kind with the opening for size adjustment do NOT provide enough protection against skin cancer. Both of my brothers had to have surgery to remove skin cancers caused by that opening. I have had a malignant melanoma removed from the center of my nose. So I take sun protection hats seriously. Very Seriously! The one problem I have with heavier or thicker hats is they get very hot. So I was very glad to find this light weight one. I don't live in a windy area, so I don't think that will be a problem with this light weight one. It does have a handy chin strap and a size adjustment cord built in. I couldn't pass up this very affordable hat for less than $9, and if it works well, I look forward to buying more of them! If I have any problems, I will update this review with that information. I bought 2 of these hats to keep in our EV when we need to walk between chargers and businesses. They fold easily to fit in a storage pocket. The fabric is medium weight so it protects you from the sun but it is still cool with ventilation so you don't get sweaty. The hats are comfortable and roomy enough to fit hubby's slightly larger head yet still fitting mine without messing up your hair or causing any pressure headaches that tight fitting ones can do. They seem well made with no odd stitches or folds. The neck strap to hold the hats on in the wind are just long enough but might benefit from another inch or two. The brims are decently sized for reasonable functionality but additional width would be a nice addition. For the cost, these are good and solid options. I would buy them again.

This hat is perfect for outdoor work which I bought to use for my lawn service. This hat do not fold on you, it stays firm and blocks the sun with breatheable top. PERFECT FIT TOO!!!

I've bought many of these hats from bunches of undicernable brands. I'm not too concern with the aesthetic, just need something keep the sun off my face.First, I bought a beige and grey , but I pretty much got two greys, with slightly different shades.The brim is the least stiff from all these ones I've bought, so it actually not really good for shielding. Yet, it's cheapeast, I got two hats at around 8 pre tax, so that's like a 50% discount the similar looking ones.So you got what you paid for.

Packaged very mindfully. It's perfect for what I need. I use it for yard work, afternoon walks, hiking trips, and even in the car if the sun hits the side of my face. The brim is a perfect size. Not too small and not too big either. I love that there is a toggle at the chin for windy days and also a size adjuster in the back of the head to further secure it.

Perfect for the vacation. It was great to keep the sun away.
