Do i use a wet stone to sharpen,?

It only has a point. There are no edges. It's very hard steel probably wont require much sharpening but wet stone or grinding should be fine.

What time period(s) would this have been used?

It’s based on a 19th Century British cavalry lance. It would have been mounted on a longer shaft (about 9’).

Is this fully assembled or must the point be mounted? Also, is there any gapping between the mounted head and shaft as on other Cold Steel spears?

It does have to be mounted yourself. I had some heavier duty screws that were the same size as what it came with and used those. I also put gorilla glue in the slotcpretty heavily and then screwed it in place. I’ve had it for a few years now and used it somewhat frequently, and it’s not even come close to loosening.

Is this made in us, japan, india, or taiwan?

I have two spears, one is from india, the other had no labeling of origin.
