My 6 year old was motivated to read better just so he could read this!
My child loves this book. We checked it out at our local library but he carried it with him constantly and was disappointed when we had to return it. He practiced reading this book because he loves it so much. We have done a few of the experiments already and they double as our science lessons for school at home.

The best science activity book for my 9-year-old boy.
Engaging format, and I love that the science behind the experiment is explained.

Stem at home
It came in late because of the seller. This book is great to add stem activities to young children's summer. The materials are listed the steps are photographs.. it helps the youngest learners to grasp these concepts.

Crazy experiments one can do at home with one's kids (or grandchildren, in my case)
Not all the experiments turned out as expected, but that is the nature of the beast: it is true of real life experiments too. Sometimes a failed experiment is even more interesting (think Penicillin).

Great gift for a outdoor child.
I sent this book to my grandchildren in another state, and are very aware of the outdoor environment. My daughter told me as soon as my grandkids got the book they took it with them to a local park and were totally engrossed in its content. Good job.

Some of these projects may need adult assistance.
I gave it as a gift for my Grandson. I thing it would be a good activity to share with an older brother or Mom and Dad

Perfect for My Class!
The activities are perfect follow-up work for a Montessori classroom! I’ll use them for distance learning, for sure! Thank you.

Great projects
This book is keeping the kids busy this summer! Worms? Check. Rocket? Check. Rain gauge? Check. They need very little help with reading, following directions, even collecting materials. Ages 9 and 10.
