This is my second pair of this product. I had two left over RV 50 AMP power cords that I converted to 220V - 30 AMP extension cords. This product will accept this larger diameter cord and look professsional when you're done. I also used one to replace the 220V plug on my Bandsaw. Now all my 220V equipment have NEMA L6-30 plugs.

I think these connectors will be serviceable for my purposes. But they are definitely light duty. The prongs on the male connector are not perfectly secured to their base. They are "good enough" but do wiggle back and forth a little. It can make plugging it in more fiddley than it should be.Using them with care should yield a long life. I'm using them for a welder extension cable. But if you are looking for a heavy duty connector for rugged use in the shop or field, look elsewhere. There's a reason these cost half of what others do. But if you're on a tight budget and willing to go easy on the parts, these can certainly work!
