BSI Slow Cure 30 Minute Epoxy Glue (128g) - BSI205

Works great.

I use normal two part epoxy for gluing wood to wood, or 0.1mm steel, copper, aluminium and copper sheet to wood for my wooden art pieces. Normally a five minute epoxy is what I need. Sometimes though, I need to fill a larger crack in a piece of wood. Whilst many would attempt to hide the crack by mixing glue with fine sawdust, I make a feature of it by using this two part slow cure epoxy with a colour pigment powder. As it cures slower I have time to mix the epoxy, mix in the pigment and fill the crack before the product becomes unworkable. As it is normally not a large crack it cures within a couple of hours, bonding the surfaces together very well. It sands well, and polishes to a glass-like sheen.It is very slightly yellow though, so be aware of this. As I use colour pigments it is not a real issue for me.

I always buy this epoxy as its never let me down.I use it to glue different colour woods together for knife handle scales and also for gluing the scales to the knife tangs prior to a 24 hour immersion in an oil & white spirit mix. Because this glue is waterproof it does all I need and more with a fantastic strength.

I did not mind the cure time but the bottles need a screw type of cap to seal the tube. Otherwise OK.
