44 pin IDE 16GB MLC Horizontal DOM/SSD/Disk on Module for Industrial or Enterprises PC Internal Hard Drive

Picked up to go in various thin clients that I'm messaing around with. These DOM modules are great for installing an OS and being able to remove the storage easily to swap for another.

I purchase several things on Amazon, and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Seller's have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Works in old HP T5000 Thin Client as an upgrade. Though I found with installing Debian (7 or 8 I forget which) the automatic partitioner would not work, I had to perform a more manual install with an older partitioning tool first, then I found the regular install process would when run again.

Compact, worked well as an upgraded hard drive in my wyse terminal. No more needing to run os off of usb. We use these to run an Untangle router, in combination with USB to Ethernet adapters.

This is a good upgrade from the 128MB stock IDE DOM in my Wyse Cx0 thin client.
