Multipurpose!
I use these to spread cheese or peanut butter for my dog to lick. The are strong, nest, and wash well.

fine as trivet, not so much as pot holder
These are thick & flexible, except for the quite large Cuisinart logo in the middle, which is NOT very flexible. Okay for use as trivet, but awkward to use as pot holder. I'll keep looking.

The giant Cuisinart text in the middle doesn't flex very well and substantially reduces dexterity
I returned these and spent more to buy some like it without the rigid text in the middle of each holder, made a huge difference
