Very impressed for the price
The media could not be loaded. My husband and I have built a 1980 El Camino that has had carburetor problems since the day we got it. It has a .40 over built 350.A few weeks ago the Carburetor blew out of nowhere leaving us with no vehicle. Instead of spending $600 on a new carb when we already wanted to go fuel injection, I suggested we go ahead and get a fuel injection kit. Research led us to fitech, and honestly we've been happy with it.Set up only took an afternoon when we got off of work and then a few days of tuning to get it running perfect. The only tricky part we had with this was actually wiring. Don't know if anyone has seen the electrical on a 80 El Camino, but it's absolutely awful to try and mess with. When we originally hooked it up we put power from key on, and after a few days of it not really wanting to run right we did some research and found that it has to have power during cracking. In the elco power during cranking is diverted to everything but what we needed it for. So we wired a dedicated switch for the key on power and it has run perfect since then. Now we have a dedicated kill switch, and know we have power where we need to.It being self tuned has led to a substantial power increase, especially considering where we live the weather is extremely different day to day so it was hard to keep a well tuned carb. This has solved the majority of our problems with it being a reliable daily driver. The injectors in this actually spray like nitrous injection which is a really cool plus, and when you get on it you can actually hear the injectors spraying against the barrels. Of all things, this is one of my husband's favorite features.

Still tuning
Great customer service but still trying to dial it in. Better than a carburetor? We will see.

Works perfectly in my setup
I put this setup on my 1967 Chevy C10 that has a SBC350. It had a Holley 850 carb when I got it and just never ran right. When it got below 60, the truck was a nightmare to start. Did a bunch of research settled on the fitech system. Fairly straight forward install. You will need a to run a return line to your tank if you don’t have one. Also needs a tech input. Pulled mine of my coil. You may also lose your coolant temp sensor. The fitech system replaces your stock temp sensor so you’ll either need to use another spot or get an in-line temp sensor. Other than that... pretty straight forward. If you want to keep your factory, mechanical fuel pump, look into getting the command center.I’ve put about a 100 miles on the truck and it drives better every time. Honestly... this was the best investment I’ve made so far, on the truck, as far as drivability. Like night and day.

Great Basic all in kit!
This was everything I needed to swap my Oldsmobile 455 big block over to fuel injection. Installation and setup was straightforward easy to understand.I only wish it had been made apparent that this model DOES NOT have TIMING CONTROL. That's my only complaint. I would have bought the next unit up.
