Packaging not the same.
The soap is excellent. I've been in the packaging industry for many years and purchased for the packaging in an upcoming event. This packaging is plain. Disappointed with advertising visually.

Very moisturizing
I tend to use body wash because it doesn't dry out my skin like bar soaps do, so I was interested in trying this soap out to see if it's any different...and it is.The bar has a softer, creamier, slightly waxy texture that isnt as hard as regular bar soaps. It's pretty easy to dent the soap by just pushing your finger into it. I could be wrong, but to me that's a sign that it has more moisturzing properties in it. I am able to use it on my entire body, including my face! After showering, this soap doesn't make me feel itchy or dry at all. The scent is VERY light and does not linger long.

Leaves the skin soft; no scent
I love fragrance soaps but this one does not have any smell. It seems very medicated and even with a little use, my hands feel soft and moisturized. I wish it had a mild scent that would keep me excited to jump in the shower daily. The soap is like Johnson and Johnson's baby soap and tends to leave some layer on the skin giving a feeling of the residue to stay on the skin.

A little sticky for a minute
This soap leaves my skin feeling very clean and is still rather moisturizing. When I initially used it to wash my hands, I thought it had stripped everything off my hands because my fingers sort of "squeaked" when I rubbed them together. But I realized it was actually sort of a stickiness. When I pressed my index finger against a note card, when I lifted my hand, the card was stuck to my finger. This sort of stickiness lasted until my hands completely dried (I towel dried after washing). I moved the bar to the shower and found that I only notice the sticky film (or whatever it is) on my hands. My face and legs, etc. just feel clean and relatively well hydrated for a soap (I still use moisturizer). This lathers well. The salt isn't grainy. It doesn't feel like an exfoliating bar. My daughter and I tried to figure out the scent because it seemed somewhat familiar. We finally decided that it smells a bit like melted soft serve ice cream. The scent of the soap is much lighter, however. Overall, I like these soap bars. My husband is more or less indifferent. He has oily skin and never needs body lotion. Dude doesn't even need lip balm at high altitude in the middle of summer. For him, all that matters is how the soap feels in his hand and how quickly it gets used up. He's got no complaints about these JJ CARE soap bars, but he has no glowing review either.
