Elsie Silver did it again!
This my favorite book in the series so far. It was raw, emotional, funny, sad and cute. I loved how West fell and fell HARD. He was so patient and kind and always there for her. I also love the relationship he has with his kids and the relationship Skylar and has with his kids. This book had my laughing and tearing up at the same time. I am very excited to read the next book in the series!

Great Love and Finding Yourself Story
I enjoyed the banter and relationship Skylar had with West's kids. I wouldn't mind living in that town. It seems fun and like it is full of good people.

My favorite Elsie book!
I think Wild Eyes may be my favorite Elsie book yet! There is just something about West and Skylar, I love them both so much! West is the perfect book boyfriend and MAN. He is an amazing single father to two of the most adorable kids, and his sense of humor and sweet but dirty talking mouth, along with his ability to be completely honest, and that he can do pretty much anything, had me swooning the whole way through.Skylar is lost in life and trying to figure things out when she arrives in Rose Hill, and her character growth throughout is amazing! I love anything that has to do with music, and Skylar being a country star who is trying to find her own way without the influence of her toxic family had me so invested. And how West’s son, Ollie, opened up with her while he had such a hard time doing so with anyone else just had me 🥹 I could gush forever over every detail of this book!! Especially the parrot - Cherry definitely deserves a special shoutout, she really brought the entertainment 🤣The setting in itself is one of my favorites too, Rose Hill is the epitome of what it means to live in a small town, and reminds me of my own scenic and tight-knit hometown.I mean it when I say this is one of my top audiobooks of all time. First of all, I can’t imagine two better fitting narrators than Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood, they were the PERFECT West and Skylar. Their voices just matched the characters to a T, it was amazing! And there is music! Original songs by Leticia Teixeira and Alyssa Brigiotta, and they were so good!! I highly recommend going the audio route with this one, although I was especially glad to have the ebook to pair it with, because Elsie’s writing is the best!

West and Skylar
The main characters were so realistic that I could relate to them and their personalities. They were interesting. Their relationship was fun. West had a solid relationship with his ex, the mother of his children. His personality was rock solid and so sincere. His children with their unique personalities made even more realistic.Their first close intimate interaction was written so perfectly. After having such a unique life so far with much insecurities, West, his family, his home and the life in the area freed her.Great all around great book.

Good book, easy read
It was a good second book in the series, easy read. Unlikely but cute. It was nice to be caught up on the couple from book 1 a bit. A couple typo’s bothered me. Looking forward to book 3.

Keeps Getting Better?
So Book 2, Wild Eyes I enjoyed more than I did Wild Love. If I could give half ratings, this one would be a 3.5. I connected more with the characters and their love story. How they met on the side of the road while he actively tried to save her life and she actively chose to be stubborn, is almost too perfect. Especially when finding who her number one fan actually is.I again found this book extremely easy to read. The book moved at a good pace and the plot didn’t necessarily have any twist and turns and was pretty predictable. At least with knowing that Skyler had daddy issues and something would happen that would have her running back to LA. West’s love for his kids and their relationship probably is a huge 1 and a 1/2 star reason why I connected with this book. I truly loved their dynamic and ability to connect with each other. Each one of them bring something different to the family unit but West (and his ex) has poured some serious love into them be to be authentically themselves.

beautiful, hilarious
I smiled nearly the entire time I was reading this book. Just like some characters in this book, I’m not good with words so I don’t know how to describe how much I LOVED it. It made me feel so many different emotions.I usually read small town romances just as a pallet cleanser and often get bored and find myself skimming through. Not with this book. I soaked up every work and I wish it was longer. The journey was beautiful and funny and sweet and heartbreaking at times.I loved every character in this book. West is…. West is just a beautiful soul. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a mmc more. His devotion to Sky was almost soul crushing knowing I will never have a West in my life. And his Kids!! I don’t even like children and I found myself wishing Ollie and Emmy were my kids. The relationship Sky built with them had me tearing up and again, I don’t even like children!I’m honestly hesitant to read the next book in this series because It can’t get better than this. I wish I could read it over again for the first time
