The owl should be left in the bushes where squirrels can see it at its feet.
Squirrels are only afraid for a few days.

Light weight but get the job done
These owls are very light weight and I don't expect them to last more than one season. But the heads do move and they are fairly realistic looking. They seem to be getting the job done, I haven't seen a chipmunk since I put them out. Good value for the price.

My Husband thought I was crazy (What elseis new?) 😆 Only took 2 days for the pigeons to get the hint. Now just the other birds that we like come around. . . And their babies. Take a chance and try these out. . . Just like I took a chance on my Husband 32 years ago. Hugs

Okay...
These are okay. Kind of small, but we have a small yard so no biggie. It does take a pretty strong wind to make the heads move and they kept squirrels out of our garden for about a week, but the squirrels are back.

A scarecrow that works !!!
Birds liked to perch and build nests on our porch columns, under our porch roof. Neither bird spikes nor toy black snakes did any good. These decoys did. No more bird droppings on our porch !!!

best fake owl
I've always had trouble with birds trying to make a nest on my porch lights. I have tried everything with no luck until I purchased these fake owls. No more bird nests and the birds have left the area. Fantastic product
