Quiet and works great
Fast shipping and easy to install. This cartridge fit nicely into the existing housing. Simple turn and click to replace the new pump into the existing housing. I used heat shrink connectors for the electrical wires. The entire sway out took about 15 minutes.

Nice little pump for small boats.
My boat came with one of these and has lasted 9 years in saltwater. It's outlasted several float switches! Replacement of the cartridge is dirt simple, and the sealing o-ring comes pre-lubed with silicone grease. Worth noting this replacement looked and fit identical to the original pump despite being nearly a decade apart.The 500 gph and 800 gph size pumps are good for keeping rainwater or the occasional small wave pumped out of the bilge. But those pumps do not have the capacity to keep up with waves washing over the bow in rough water.I ended up installing a 3800 gph pump separately as my "emergency" bilge pump for when things turn ugly. It's never a bad idea to have a 2nd bilge pump as a backup.For smaller boats up to about 15', a couple of the T800 sizes should be great. For anything larger, you'll want to step up to a much larger one.But I use the smaller T800 pump as my "main" bilge pump as the first line of defense to keep things dry.

Great design. Easy replacement.
I’ve had these pumps in my boat for 6-7 years without any issues. I bought this to replace a faulty pump (or so I though (wiring short) so it didn’t fail which says a lot for durability. I was able to remove the existing and install the new pump in minutes. I highly recommend these pumps as they fit all categories that make a great, reliable, easy service pump.

Good pump
Really easy to install on existing housing. The first one lasted a couple years but you salt water gets everything even though I Rinse with fresh water after use. But for the money it's worth every penny.

Doesn't fit!
This doesn't fit within a T-500 cartridge although the description indicates that it will.
