Orthotix Medically Approved (PAIR) 10mm Silicone Heel Wedge/Raise With Soft Spot for shock absorbance

Awful product - if this is 'medically approved' I'd be very surprised. They offer no support at all - it's like waking around on chicken fillets. They don't provide even support for the foot. Even when placed inside flat soled boots (with more ankle support than shoes) they are incredibly unstable to walk on and worse yet - they do not grip the base of the shoe. Walking downhill? The inserts ended up halfway down the show and dragged the insole with them.I used them once and ended up with serious back-pain as a result.DO NO BUYI will be demanding my money back

I have a Haglund’s deformity and these make me so much more comfortable as I wait for my surgery date. They are sturdy and fit easily into my shoes. I’ve worn them every day now for a few months and they are still as good as new.

Super & hard wearing. Only wish I could find something to secure them into the heel of the shoe as they do tend to slide forward as I walk. Much better than cork heels I was using.

I have an arthritic nodule growing on my left Achilles tendon which causes terrible pain like a red hot knitting needle being shoved up the back of my calf. I'd had some heel raisers prescribed by an orthotist a few years ago but the nodule has grown and they were no longer doing the job. So I bought these higher ones that are similar to my originals. I am now able to stand for more than 5 mins without ending up in agony. Very pleased.

I'm not so sure that I prefer this gel type. If you need to fix them in footwear I find that double sided tape will not stick to to this material.

Excellent. They do slip around a bit but have used double sided sticky carpet tape. Problem solved. Very comfy under heel.

By the end of the first week, the worst of the pain in my heels had abated. After 3 weeks, the left heel was completely clear and the right heel was only a week away from being healed.
