Perfect modeling brushes
Well made and practical sizes, these modelling brushes hold the point well and are comfortable to use over extended periods. Good levels if detail can be attained, and my feeling is with care they should last

Good Value for Craft Work
Theses brushes are not high quality but they are fine and allow detailed painting for hobbyists.I like to paint garden decorations in acrylic and these brushes allowed me to put the fine details of eyes and noses, also little flowers etc. Some have an odd very long bristle which I had to trim, but otherwise they worked very well. I cleaned them with washing up liquid and water and they cleaned up nicely and no bristles fell out.I like that the brushes all come with a plastic sleeve to protect the brush head and that there are a range of slightly different sizes. At £3.49 for nine brushes there are really good value.

Useful brushes for modelling
Got these to help with detail painting my 1/35th scale models and it is very useful, comes with 9 different sized brushed which allow you to paint a variety of different scales. They are most useful for ground vehicles in my opinion. For the price these brushes are brilliant for anyone starting to make scale models.Overall, a good set of paintbrushes for a very low price (£5 at the time of review)5/5

Pack of 9 fine brushes, but brush heads are not the best and there are better options available
I use paint brushes regularly (for paint-by-numbers), so was keen to try this new set out.Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that this set wasn't up to much. The packaging is basic (see photo), (which is fine) and the brushes (3 each of size 0, 00 and 000) are supplied with protective plastic heads to keep the brush hairs pristine in travel (and between use). However, this is where the product is let down - the brush hairs themselves are not the best.As you can see in the photo the hairs have not been shaped entirely uniformly - there are random brush hairs sticking out longer than the rest and the hairs are stuck together slightly which causes an uneven paint trail to be left behind when exerting force on the hairs when painting. The brushes handle itself is very thin - e.g. thinner than a standard pencil (see photo) so you wouldn't want to use these for long periods of time as thicker (and preferably shaped brushes) are far more comfortable for prolonged use.The standard brushes that are supplied with paint by numbers sets rarely have 0, 00 and 000 brushes included, so at least it is nice to have that extra option for fine detail painting. However, I can't see me using these a great deal.As a simple/quick comparison 'Amazon's choice' in this product category similarly has a 9-piece set of 0, 00 and 000 brushes and has superior handles if nothing else, which are much more comfortable and significantly they are the same price too (currently £4.99).Because of that I find it hard to recommend this set of brushes, especially at the same current sale price.Unfortunately it's 3 stars from me - nothing significantly wrong with the set (hairs aside) but there are better options available for the same amount of money.

Good For Fine Detail
These brushes are designed for high detail work, and I think they are excellent for that. You get a number of different sizes in the set, but they all have fine bristles that go to a sharp tip, my favourite is the longest brush in the set, only about a half an inch long, which doesn't sound much, but because it's so thin, it allows you to do long, continuous, sweeping strokes. The bristles are synthetic, but they feel very smooth, and they end in a very nice, neat point. Having used a couple and washed them out, the bristles still remain smooth and neat, no evidence of stray hairs after a first try.I intend to use them with watercolour and maybe acrylic paint, I don't really know how well they would suit oil paints, but I suspect they are really intended for watercolour more than anything else. The handles are plain and simple, but a nice length, slim and smooth, and the metal ferrules that hold the bristles are firmly attached. Overall I'm very pleased with these brushes, where you need really fine detail in a painting, they are ideal.

Useful When Painting Lots of Models.
The price, at time of writing, of £4.39 doesn't suggest the highest quality, and these brushes aren't. But, for that price, they are a good resource for anyone painting a lot of gaming miniatures and scenery. They have no sizes on them, but comparing them to other brushes, the claim that they're '0', '00' and '000' sizes seems accurate - three of each brush.Synthetic bristles, not the best for really fine detailing, but relatively soft and perfectly adequate for base coats and basic details. The bristles are well bound by the metal ferrules and the black, wooden handles are comfortable to hold and can be manipulated well.I've used these with various acrylics, mostly Vallejo Game, Reaper Master Series and Tamiya, with decent results, paint washing out easily with plain ordinary water.I wouldn't use these for painting main character miniatures, but they are an excellent back-up for painting numerous horde creatures and applying patina to scenery and larger creatures where brushes tend to get a little abused in the processes. I'd rather abuse these than my expensive high-quality brushes.

Perfect for fine details
I use a lot of brushes when I'm making decorations for cakes. This is a set of 9 brushes-three of each size, 0-00-000 . They arrived simply wrapped in cellophane and each brush has a protective cover for the bristles. The brushes are well made, with synthetic bristles that are nicely shaped and reach a fine point. I have used these brushes to paint details on sugar models and flowers. Overall I am happy with these brushesthey are good value for money.

Cheap and cheeful
These brushes are exactly as described. They where bought for painting in fine details on nails and on tiny plastic models. The are not the best quality it's reflected in the price but they do the job.Usually cheap brushes loose loads of bristles after the first use but these didn't seem to do that. They where up to the job when using acrylic and water paint. They do have very thin handles but again it's a case of getting what you pay for and I was impressed by how these performed
