SEKKISEIHerbal UV Defense Gel for Face Broad Spectrum Sunscreen, SPF40, 1 Ounce

I’ve always loved the Japanese Sekkisei skin care products. This sunscreen is no exception. It is moisturizing, smells wonderful, easy to apply, and provides great protection. I will definitely repeat!!!

I know it's expensive but wow, I've never used such a nice sunscreen for my face. I've never tried any Korean skincare products but a relative has kept mentioning how well the Koreans know their stuff when it comes to skincare. Check out the ingredient list,....there's a lot going on with this cream! (Asian Herbs)This sunscreen goes like a gel as expected, and just a little bit will cover the entire face. It does feel a tiny bit tacky for a few minutes but that goes away. It creates an invisible veil. Most importantly, your skin feels great and the spf 40 protects the face.-Wait 15 minutes after applying to go in the sun.-It is not waterproof or sweat proof-Keep the tube out of the sun.I'm pretty sure that this tube will last a long time since it takes a very small amount to cover my face. It may even last me the entire summer. That said, I would order it again even though it is so expensive.

Sunscreen comes in a small tube with a pump. It spread on easily and had a nice gel texture that felt refreshing when applied. I liked how lightweight the sunscreen is and that it does not give any white cast. It feels comfortable worn alone and under makeup. I would have liked to have had a bit higher spf but this sunscreen still provides good protection.

Korean skincare does it again. I am converting over to all Korean skincare products lately and throwing out everything else as I have extremely sensitive skin. This is yet another one that has me sold and on top of it its broad spectrum SPF40 which I need. Its also easy to throw into your purse or travel bag too. I noticed that you only need a little bit, I used too much the first time. It doesn't leave an icky residue and I don't notice much if any fragrance which I prefer. Its very lightweight once it soaks in as well.I also don't have any sensitivities to it either with my skin or my eyes - thankfully.

This is very lightweight. It feels more like a serum than a cream. It absorbs well and does not have a greasy feel. I am able to easily apply makeup on top of it once it dries. It appears to be doing what it should in terms of sun protection. Great product!!

I love how this product feels on my skin. It absorbs well and has no residue. I have very fair skin, winter is ending and I'm now being exposed to bright sunshine that my face has not felt in months. I can be outside all day without any burns.The sunscreen comes in a small bottle but a little goes a long way on your face. To me it seems a bit expensive but it is a high quality product that feels good on my skin so it is worth it.

I’ve never once in my life loved sunscreen, but finally this one has come to “save” my opinion about sunscreen. It’s not heavy at all (which I love)! Most sunscreens make you look too shiny, but this one is so elegant and perfectly absorbs!UPDATE: 07/09/2024This stuff burned suddenly? Looks like my skin can’t take whatever ingredient in here and now I won’t be able to use it anymore. Such a shame! I wonder what ingredient could flare up such a negative skin response! :(

This is a perfect size to keep in your purse! The gel absorbs quickly and isn't overly fragranced. It protects very well, no burn after an entire afternoon in the sun!
