Men's Army Helmet

Nice helmet which will be used by my grand daughter on Halloween.

As another said, this isn't as cheap as you'd expect. It's thick(ish) injection-molded olive drab plastic, with an attempt to recreate the texture of the real helmet on the exterior. The interior has a quarter-inch thick line of foam around the inside, presumably to aid in a snug(er) fit. This is about the right size for an adult, too. I'm 5 feet, 5 inches and I've worn a size 7 3/4 hat or thereabouts. The only downsides to this are the molding marks / stubs on the exterior and the lack of any internal hardware, though for $12, I'm not sure what you expected. Even cheap Chinese repro M1 helmets go for at least 3x that amount. This is ideal for an adult's Halloween costume or as a 'budget' display piece. I think it would be too large for a child's head.

I bought this for a Captain America costume, and like it because it's a liner and not a full heavy WWII M1 helmet. I bought blue spray paint, white 3" letter stickers and goggles to transform this hat for my costume. I have included photos and product links if you would like to do the same. It has a 1/2" ring of foam inside which will help it fit most folks. I may need some more foam and will purchase it separately if need-be. Looks like a real helmet from afar, I used for my Soviet soldier costume. It looks just like the SSh-40.

Helmet was a little loose on my 12 year old, but I just hot glued some extra bike helmet padding in it and it fit perfect. Sprayed everything “meadow green” to make the costume. The helmet really completed the outfit. Great quality and lightweight which made it very comfortable to wear for hours of trick or treating.

I got this for a cosplay and was very pleased with it. I spray painted it my desired color and haven't had any problems. I've worn it 12+ hours straight at conventions over a wig cap and it's very comfortable. It has foam inserts on the inside a bit above the rim, which help with the fit and are not visible from the outside. I have a somewhat large head compared to other people, so after reading other reviews saying it was big and getting it I was happy with its size; I'm sure anyone with long hair who needs extra space in their headgear will also find that this fits their needs. People with smaller heads may find that it's too big, though.

I bought this for a costume, doesn't fit my head, they should have some kind of head measurement in the listing but it looks very nice and clean, well made!
