Most of the choline that you need must come from dietary sources. It also contains boswelliia that has shown positive benefits in double blind, placebo controlled studies of people with cognitive deficits following traumatic brain injuries. Finally B6 is a well known enhancer by lowering homocysteine levels which, when elevated, can contribute to neurodegeneration. As far as brain health supplements go, this one is multi-faceted and includes more active ingredients than most. The price is comparable, perhaps a little bit more, than others in its class but I think in terms of brain health, you really do get what you pay for. In this case it's a good quality supplement that includes more beneficial ingredients that span a wider range as far as mechanisms of actions. This one, seemingly, intends to "attack" the problem from multiple different angles instead of just one. I haven't taken it long enough to feel results but I do feel more focused when I do. This also has the addition of choline, phosphatidly serine, and high doses of vitamins b6 and b12. I definitely notice a bit more mental clarity when I take this, a bit less brain fog and enhanced focus. It's a very interesting new brain health supplement and worth testing out if you are interested in nootropics. Overall - a good quality, clinically studied brain health supplement.
