Can't use bite valves but this twist valve is just as good!

Leaks when inserted

If you don’t tape this down it will get ripped off with any small force. This one lasted me a week.

Worked fine until the cap fell off the little string. Still works but now the bit that goes in my mouth is completely exposed :( give yours a check when you buy it and maybe knot it again to make sure this doesn’t happen to you

I really like the non-bite feature and locking mechanism. Also, the modularity of the part helps in certain situations. For example, this last weekend I was hiking in 17F weather. The valve froze almost immediately and wouldn't "unlock" and, obviously, no water flowed through it. But I was able to take the value off, put it between my jacket and shirt for a few minutes and thaw it out. Then I popped it back on, wiggled the hose a little and was able to drink again. From that point on I just kept the valve in my pocket when I wasn't drinking, while it was still below freezing outside.

Adapté à un réservoir SOURCE dans le sac à dos. Très pratique se fixe facilement en un click mais se perd également tout aussi facilement si l’on appui par mégarde, ce qui m’est arrivé et m’a conduit à acheter un nouveau dispositif. Facilite à laver et surtout matière dépourvue de goût désagréable ( j’ignore si les matériaux sont toxiques, mais potentiellement moindre que l’aluminium qui a disparu des gourdes de l’armée française. L’ensrmble rentre dans la poche prévue à cet effet ou par l’intermédiaire d’un sac adaptable sur le sac (MOLE) ou le CIRAS
