We have previously used this litter and always found it to be great. Temporarily switched to a different brand and noticed it smelled horrible, and our cat started using the bathroom where she wasn't supposed to. So we switched back to Fresh Step and there hasn't been anymore accidents. So lesson learned, we will only be using this litter from now on. I will say, since switching back to Fresh Step, the smell has went away so it has been great for odor control even with it being unscented. Clumping is definitely better than other brands, with other brands there was always muddy litter at the bottom of the litter pan, now there isn't. I would definitely recommend this litter for anyone looking for a good quality litter that clumps well, and has very low/no odor.

Literally ordered this immediately at my friend's apartment when I visited his cat who was left alone for a few days. There was no odor whatsoever, which was enough for me to hit the order button immediately after checking what litter my friend was using. And after having tried several brands, this definitely is our favorite cat litter. It blocks the smells like no one's business, and trust me, our large British boy poops twice a day and it stinks. This litter helps like nothing else. I still prefer the "extreme" one as it's even better and lasts longer, but this, on the other hand, is cheaper AND almost as effective. I alternate between the two to make it more cost-effective. It also doesn't leave dust and it clumps well. But I want to note: you will need a litter-trapping mat if you want to eliminate like 99% of litter on your floor.

Great odor control very durable and my cat loves it. Heck when I change his litter he lays down in it. Lol.. but I get it the one that has no scent in it. It's better for any cat.

This has been my go-to litter for over 10 years. I spent years trying to find a fragrence-free litter that doesn't smell when used and clumps well. This is it. A bit dusty, so I pour it close to the litter box, but that's a minor complaint for a litter that works this well. I combine this with a Litter Genie for a litter station that literally has zero smell (as confirmed by many guests). I hate the smell of cat litter when I visit people that just don't know that a better product exists. I always try to get them to switch, and when they finally do, it's a night and day difference in terms of smell. So happy that a product like this exists, as I hate the smell of litter boxes, but don't want a litter with added fragrances, since cats hate them.

I ordered this before out of desperation and forgot that I hated it and ordered again. So I am writing this review mostly for myself. SELF: DO NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. SPEND A FEW MORE BUCKS IF YOU HAVE TO. The reason I hate this litter is that it makes my cats stink. It says unscented but it definitely has a scent. And the grain is so small and dusty that the litter and the cats' contributions stick to them after they use it. So they smell like when someone poops and tries to cover it up with a bunch of air freshener. Also, there is a huge cloud of dust when I pour this into the box. It sticks between their toes, it takes over the house. It's an entity. Don't do it. Just don't. There are better options that are cheaper even.
