This makes it seem as if this charges...like a battery inside. Ummmm....NOPE! You either have to have it plugged in with the USB cable or the battery box to have it work. IN addition it isn't all that bright. A bright pen light that charges via usb (or in a pinch uses batteries in the light) is so much easier and less fussy.. This light is like trying to be intimate through a bedsheet. You COULD but why would you even want to try. No thanks.
