We recently installed these permanent outdoor lights from Govee, and the results have truly exceeded our expectations! While the installation required some planning to get everything just right, that’s par for the course with any outdoor lighting project. Once we had a solid plan, the setup went smoothly, and the final outcome made all the effort worth it.The lights are stunning—bright, vibrant, and fully customizable. Whether it’s a simple warm glow or a festive display for holidays, these lights can do it all. The app makes it easy to adjust colors and patterns, and the quality feels like they’ll last for years.The best part? We’ve noticed neighbors stopping to admire them on their evening walks, and a few have even asked where we got them. At this point, I’m tempted to put up a little sign that says, “Ask us about Govee!” because these lights are a conversation starter.If you’re looking for permanent outdoor lighting that adds serious curb appeal, Govee is the way to go. Highly recommend so far.

The media could not be loaded. After opening the box it can be a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot of small pieces and I got a bit overwhelmed — but, if you go on YouTube and search “Govee neon lights” there’s a 30 second video that really simplified the process for me! I am autistic and struggle with written instructions, so it was a great visual. I got the largest size and it wraps around my desk perfectly. These lights are incredibly bright and have tons of different color combinations / themes. You can also customize them individually and pick the colors you’d like to see. My favorite feature is definitely the music sync, it can seem a little too sensitive at first but there is a sound sensitivity slider in the app! I have the music box right behind my Echo, and it responds well.For the entire part of squiggles I didn’t use any of the bending connectors. I used the shortest ones and just made sure to have them shaped in a way where curving would be natural for them. I didn’t have a shape planned and just went for it. The heart bit at the end was a bit more complicated but I ended up using the straight clips for that part as well. Also, the screws would likely come in handy but I am in an apartment! The curved ones just kept falling off the wall and I believe it was because of the tension. These lights are definitely something you’ll have to play with for a bit to get them exactly how you want them, but it is 100% worth it!They’re very durable and insanely nice in terms of quality. The best LED’s you could find IMO (in my opinion). They connect to the Govee Home app as well as my Echo Show. 100% would recommend, just have some patience and trust the process!These are super bright, so I’d recommend blackout curtains in front of your window to avoid giving everyone outside a light show as well, haha. Amazing lights!

I LOVE these Neon Ropes by Govee! They are so Amazing! The quality can’t be beat! There are so many lighting options, the brightness is Fantastic, and the customization is only limited by your imagination! These can be put in any design that you want them with the included clips (but you may need to purchase more clips for some designs to ensure that they stay adhered properly & in good design!) the installation is very straightforward & pretty easy! These lights are so amazing! Connectivity is great - Using 2.4GHz wifi &/or bluetooth & the Govee home app you can use the many preloaded scenes or customize your own creations there as well!You can’t go wrong with Govee devices- They will last forever, have the best customer service & have an amazing app!I LOVE GOVEE DEVICES so much! In just a year of using them I have now collected about 85ish of them from lights to GoveeLife Air Purifiers! You won’t regret this purchase or ANY Govee Purchase!

I absolutely loved that rope light. I've had my eye on a similar white Ikea rope light that is no longer being made and then i found this. This is a smart light, with many colors, a very intuitive app with so many color design options, it's absolutely mind-blowing especially at this price. I bought this to put in a large glass jar to replace the rope lights I already use. The light can be very bright if you choose to or you can dim it. I bought a bunch of other Govee lights with this so I returned this rope because I thought the others worked better for what I needed it for but if I'd found use for it I would have totally kept it. If you have a game room, or a kid's room, this would be a fun addition to their wall. I already have wall mounted Nanoleaf so I had no use for those. The material was thick and flexible, could be mounted and maybe it had an adhesive back, I don't know because I never unrolled it and returned it in its original condition. Great product.

This light is a lot of fun and easy to play with! I think it will be great for hosting parties and turning it into shapes that fit the theme of the party. The light is bright and the colors are vibrant. The colors don’t bleed together if you segment them. I have not stuck it on my wall yet so I do not know how well it adheres to the wall. It holds shapes well though and is easy to bend. Pairs easily with my phone and the app is straightforward and easy to use. Overall has a great performance and looking forward to buying the longer version in the future!

These lights are so versatile and easy to use. The app has so many options for patterns and stuff. My son installed this set under his bed to give appearance of floating on light. It turned out great. My only issue is the plastic clips are not strong enough unless you screw a few in. The light strip is heavier than the clips can handle at times. The light is easy to make shapes out of and is very bright (dimmable too).
