After begging her to let me get her something, my wife said she'd like a chime - but one she wouldn't dare to spend a lot of money on for herself. Well, i looked around and decided these Woodstock chimes were a safe bet, although pricey. You can listen to the tones on their website if you desire. I certainly recommend doing so.We received the chime in great condition, and after I hung it up, i was awestruck by the beauty and clarity of the sound from the chime. The notes are pure, clean, and resonate for unimaginable lengths of time and carry for long distances. These do not sound like a bunch of mumbling keys by any stretch of the imagination. They are a good bit closer to church bells than any chime we've ever had. I can't tell you how much I hope for a breezy day. The sound is calming, relaxing, and helps to drown out my neighbor's cigarette-scarred voice and coughing.Yeah, the price seems really high for a trinket in your garden, but if you're in earshot of this thing, you'll think it is worth every penny. I am considering another chime in the same 'family'.

The media could not be loaded.  After listening to hundreds of different wind chimes and getting my wife's opinion, these are the chimes I chose. I've had them for almost two years now, and I still haven't tired of hearing them. They still sound magical no matter which season! They're heavy enough so that they don't make a loud and annoying CRANG sound in high winds. They literally always sound good. I want to buy a second set for my front yard.

Admittedly we don't live in a gusty area, but this particular combination has not grown old after a year. In fact I greet the wind now because it gives me the chance to hear these in action. I grew up with cheap, tinny chimes rattling on the patio and I didn't like them. These are not high pithed at all, but they don't sound so low that you wonder if Big Ben is chiming. Always a good idea to listen and it surprises me to see that Amazon no longer offers that option on its pages. Certainly, I never would have sprung for a set if I couldn't listen first.

Bought for family friends new home, but first I did my research to hear all the different tones available. I founded at my neighboorhood store but the price was way too much, found it here on Amazon for a little less, They are very happy with it.

This is our second windchime from this brand. It’s incredible and has beautiful tones, just like the first one we picked up in Vermont from the creator himself!

I heard this wind chime at a relative's house and just fell in love with it. The tones are more subtle than all the other chimes I've been around and the sound lingers longer than any other I've heard. It is, by far, the best ever!!! And the price I paid here was almost half of regular price thru the manufacturer. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!!

What a great sound. Worth every penny for this beauty. This is our 3rd Woodstock chime; my wife loves these.

The sound is so much better than the recording on the website. I am very impressed with it. It's overall apperance and size makes a nice statement.

I already own several Woodstock Windsinger Chimes (7 in total) but the Chimes Of Athena are my absolute favourite. The tones from these are simply divine. I couldn't believe my luck that they had £40 off each of these so I purchased two. I know I will get many happy years out of them as I already have seven year old ones and they still look and sound amazing.

Bought as a gift, and they loved them. The sound is fantastic and they look lovely.

not the cheapest of chimes but the price is reflected in the sound and appearance of this chimehas a beautiful rich relaxing sound…i have several others but this is my favouritecheck dimensions as it comes up quite big when u try to find somewhere to hang it

Habe lange gesucht , da meine Freundin das selbe in einem Kurort gekauft hatte, so eine faszinierte Melodie ! ( Athen ) wobei meine Freundin 100 Euro bezahlt hat, war ich so froh als ich es bei Amazon endeckt habe ! Da kommt man sich wie in einem Wellness-Tempel in Japan vor! HERRLICH!!!

Das Windspiel ist sehr gut verarbeitet und der Klang ist (auch noch nach 2 Monaten) wunderschön.Die Töne sind nicht zu hoch oder zu blechern, sondern angenehm.Die Abstimmung der Tonhöhen zueinander ist perfekt.
