Brilliant
Took me about 3 days to finish, I couldn’t put it down! A great book, well written. So funny and yet so relatable at times. Well worth a read

The power of the sisterhood!
Well written, entertaining book that gave me as much to laugh at as to stop and reflect on.When women come together to support each other through the dramas that life throws at them they are powerful and unstoppable!

Suspenseful, witty read
Really enjoyed this book, the characters are well drawn, the main hotel setting is an entertaining, evocative backdrop. The themes are well articulated and it alternates beautifully between making you laugh then cry. My heart was in my throat reading a chapter relating to a therapy session and also scenes with the protagonists son. Easy, entertaining reading.

A good read as I would expect from Jo Jo Moyes
Loved this book. Would recommend, especially for lady readers like myself. Had everything - drama, comedy, you name it.

Light, easy read
Jojo Moyes has written some wonderful books (Me Before You, The Ship of Brides, The Girl You Left Behind, The Giver of Stars) set in unusual, thought-provoking situations, and she has written some run of the mill chick lit.Someone Else’s Shoes falls into the latter category. It is a light, fun read about two women who pick up each others bags at the gym, women from different financial brackets, each with their own problems, great friends come through for them, all ends in a great testament to female solidarity. Some aspects are quite predictable (of COURSE the shoes have something hidden in them), and don’t quite ring true (charity shops claim Gift Aid on donations, not purchases), and the caper recovering them was a bit farcical. This would be an ideal holiday read, it’s light, enjoyable and everything ends happily with the bad guys getting their come-uppance, but not one of her best.

Great story
Hard back book arrive in good condition.I only recently started reading this authors books, she is a great story teller and you feel like you really know the characters. I could not put this book down and absolutely love the twist the end. Real ‘girl power’ and both funny and sad. I belong to a cycling club and found some of the ladies love to read. A member set up a book club and I recommended this book. All but one said they really enjoyed the story (none had read the author before). I have three more of her books to read in between book club books. Would recommend this book and the series starting with ‘Me before You’.

Enjoyable holiday read
Pretty far fetched and enjoyable. But a good funny holiday read.

brilliant
I don’t know how JoJo Moyes does it! This is a super read that is exciting funny emotional and celebratory of women and their creative power. Thank you I didn’t want it to end, and I want these women as my friends.

Fun, unexpected
Really like this story, and it was well written. The storyline moved along at a easy clip and was never lacking. The characters were real, and unique. The story of four completely different women banding together to improve their circumstances was positive and fun.

It's a quick read
This story isn't deep but it's very entertaining. Probably not believable for some people but I loved it. I don't have women friends but if I did, I'd want this bunch. I read the book in two days and very much enjoyed it.
