This is a great way to make your own molds, especially for resin. It takes a little bit of work to make sure it does not leak, but well worth it.

Does not work
unless there is some force which holds this mold housing down (onto a silicone pad) this is very dangerous.I guarantee it, silicone will pour all over your kitchen floor... just let it cure and then peel it off.Much better are the silicone mold housings which themselves are made of silicone (do not forget the mold release!!!). They come in various shapes and sizes... I use them all the time.

Perfect fo making molds
Awesome kit! Very flexible in making different configurations of molds. I highly recommend this kit.If I were to find any complaint is that there is no bottom included in the kit. Understandable because of the potential sizes or configurations. I bought a low cost one-foot square piece of plexiglass to serve as a bottom. The best tool in my art box for making molds.

Junk Tape
BLOW-OUT! NEVER USE THE MANUFACTURER'S DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE! Secure the bottom of the box yourself with clay. I nearly lost all of the silicone.Quality of the mold seems fine. Functionality and durability are also a plus. I'm sure once the silicone is dry it'll be easy enough to clean as well. Sadly this leakage caused by their tape will cost me more money. I wonder if they will refund the cost of my silicone? 🤔
