This battery is recognised by the canon 80D as not being Canon and the user has to accept a safety disclaimer 'Canon does not guarantee then performance orsafety of this battery/ these batteries. Continue Use? before it can be used. It does however power the camera. Do take care to feed the battery cable into the guide slot before inserting into the camera. The cable then passes easily through the rubber flap and so the battery cover can be closed.
