Before I sent it I took a sneak peak and I will definitely be buying myself a set. We are both artists and I can't stress how important it is to have on hand references and guides from books and not just the internet. Over all he said the book helped him see a lot and he has grown to understand what his works need/ needs less of. Perfect for what he's been struggling with. Review: An attractive book on artists perspectives - This is a beautifully illustrated book demonstrating artists' strategies to create depth in paintings. While it does not focus on the use of perspective grids, as used in architectural and detailed drawing, the illustrations and descriptions demonstrate different ways to create depth. Included are one- two-, three- and four-point perspective, as well as worm's eye view, and bird's eye views, along with other strategies such as foreshortening, atmospheric perspective, and use of shadows and other artistic techniques. Also included are a variety of ways to "break the rules" of traditional perspective. The tutorials sections brings out additional detailed teaching, showing the process of creating a drawing or painting using perspective. Finally, in the gallery, the artists discuss their own works.

A great addition to the series
Always good to get some educational inspiration. Never too old to stop learning. I found the negative reviews for this book patently unwarranted, and I’m not sure what they were based upon. I would buy any book in this series without hesitation.

A worthy title.
I am working through this book. I find it excellent, especially in conjunction with the two perspective volumes by Marcos Mateu-Mestre. The bok even has a tutorial by arguably the best illustrator in the world at present, Guweiz.
